(More customer reviews)I bought this costume for my my son (size 8) in a large (size 10-12) thinking I would have to take it in. The pants are 3 inches too short, the shirt is too big, and the hat would be more appropriate for a toddler. He can't fit it on his head. I would NOT recommend this product because of the inconsistent sizing. A waste of money!

Safari Explorer Pith Hat - Children party costume Review

(More customer reviews)What can I say, it's a straw hat! My daughter loves it. She's sat on it, trodden on it and it still survives. I was quite put out, however, with the way it was packed. It was almost folded up to get it to fit in a box that was way to small for it. Fortunately I had ordered it in plenty of time and was able leave it to recover before giving it as a gift.
It did recover though and like I said she loves it.

(More customer reviews)I bought these for my 2 year old's birthday. We have other helmets but they don't stay put on his head...they are all too large. So the fact that these helmets were advertised as "having adjustable plastic liners for a perfect fit" were a big selling point. Unfortunately it was a false statement. Only the construction and fire hats are adjustable inside. The other two helmets have very inflexible and uncomfortable chin straps.
The bottom line is that my son likes playing with them but I am disappointed.
