Mega Set Pirate Ship Playset With Island and Poseable Action Figures Review

This was my sons favorite Christmas Present this year. He is 4 and loves pirates. This really gets played with every single day. He has his army men lined up and fighting against the pirates for the island. The only bad thing that I can say about it is the "rocks" don't want to stay on the island and I had to get some superglue to make them stay. Other than that it is an awesome toy and my son loves it so that is all that matters.

Fisher-Price Backyardigans Pirate Tub Time Adventure Review

Fisher-Price Backyardigans Pirate Tub Time Adventure

My kids (2 & 5) are big fans of the Backyardigans, especially the Pirate adventure episode. (Confession time: Mom & Dad are rather fond of that episode too. "Argh!")
They really enjoy the Pirate Tub Time Adventure playset. It's quite a tub-worthy vessel. The only problems are (1) the mast does not snap firmly into the base, so it's always falling off and (2) only Captain Uniqua and Captain Pablo are included. The wee maties missed Captains Tyrone and Austin.

Fisher-Price Trio King's Warship Review

Fisher-Price Trio King's Warship

I bought this for my 4 year old son. With my help and taking our time, we got this put together in about 30-45 minutes. It's a nice size once assembled, and it is quite sturdy, although some pieces will fall off if handled too roughly. My son is able to easily follow the directions included to figure out which piece goes where. He can easily snap together the square blocks, but has trouble snapping on the sticks. Even I have to use a lot of force to get the sticks snapped on, but that just means they are less likely to fall off later. Overall, this is a pretty neat toy that provided me with some great quality time with my son.

Bought this for my son who is only 27 months old. He loves pirates and plays with this everyday. He is pretty rough with it and sometimes things come off, but they snap right back on. Would buy this again in a second.

Small World Express Preschool Toys Light N Sound Pirate Ship Review

Small World Express Preschool Toys Light N Sound Pirate Ship

My 15 month old loves this toy. Made of durable plastic and you don't have to put it together. Polar opposite to the fisher price experience of cheap plastic and a million pieces. It has a bunch of buttons to push and they all play songs. It also has wheels that mimic being at sea, with a bobble when it rolls. One of the reviewers said they got it cheaper at a small toy store, but I didn't want to spend time searching for this toy and then hoping it would be on sale. I figured best to spend the $ (a bird in the hand.. was the only reasoning).
