(More customer reviews)There's a little to be desired here. I just received this book today which will be part of a gift for a baby shower diaper cake (Hungry Caterpillar Theme). The fabric is silky which frightens be because this will easily fray fray fray with any little bit of wear - from previous experience this has happened to a few of my sons baby toys already. Due to the fabric the pages are really flimsy. If there was a cording around the cover pages it may be a little more sturdy and just feel durable. The cord and strawberry teether seem to be lacking in quality and durability. The pages and pictures are good though so educationally this book will rate well however I don't think it's that great of quality. I can only compare it to other toys we own. For instance the famous "Freddy the Firefly" has a much better/durable teether and string/cord/attachment. And we have a cloth book that's winnie the pooh and the teether on that is just such a much better quality. Anyway, to stick with my theme, I will gift this item. However, if I saw it on a store rack, I'm not too sure I'd purchase it and may look for something else. There's definitely room for improvement.

This soft book has plenty of interactive features to amuse baby and features an attached textured teether. Based on Eric Carle's Very Hungry Caterpillar book.
