I just bought this game for my daughter's 3rd birthday. The players are supposed to stack their 7 differently colored pieces in the order shown on a card (which is drawn at random from a small deck). There is a sun on one side of each piece, and a moon on the opposite side. The first player to put their 7 pieces in the correct color order and with the correct pictures aligned, puts the pot of gold atop their stack and is the winner.
My 3 year old enjoys trying to stack the pieces in the right color sequence and to get the right pictures turned to face her (both with much help from me). It doesn't work well as a game though unless the players are VERY close in ability. I think a 4 year old would easily win every game against a 3 year old, and that a 5 year old would easily beat a 5 year old in every game.
