(More customer reviews)Bought this as a Christmas toy for my 8-yr-old son so he could play with his action figures on it. He LOVES it and plays with it almost everyday. It is made of solid wood and, overall, is sturdy. The branches do come out occasionally but go right back into place (I believe it is made to disassemble easily if needed). The tree arrived quickly in the height of Christmas-buying rush and was easy to put together. I would recommend that the seller package it in a box that does not have the picture of the contents on the outside. I was lucky my son was not present when UPS came or he would've known what Santa got. A much better deal than the larger, Melissa and Doug version. Regarding play-time, this toy has outlasted all of the high-tech toys and video games that require electricity, batteries, expensive game cartridges etc. Siblings (2, 9 & 12) love it as well. And they have to use their imaginations - how about that for a novel idea? !???!! Good 'ole old-fashioned toy!
