(More customer reviews)HABA's Roman Arch is a masterpiece of ingenuity, incorporating educational values with hands on fun. My four year old and I loved this toy, we build and rebuild it again and again, while telling the stories of the Romans and their contemporaries. The only downside I find in this toy is the fact that it is MADE IN CHINA, and not in Europe as one might expect from a toy of the HABA brand. The blocks are natural wood with no paint, however it is not clear what control HABA has on the wood processing.

Note: This set does not come with building instructions.Haba/TC Timber Master Builder Series is a wonderful collection of architectural wonders from around the world.Ingenuity and architectural brilliance inspired the Romans to incorporate form and function into design. The arches allowed the aqueducts to flow freely as to provide sufficient water for the growing cities. This large block set allows children to use and learn the same engineering principles the Romans followed.
