She loves the animals at nana and papa's house so I thought this might be a fun toy for her to feel like she had a puppy of her own at home. The description of the toy sounds very cool and I have to admit I was excited to see for myself how it worked. I brought it home and couldnt wait so even though my daughter wasnt there I ripped open the box and tried it out. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! It doesnt follow you anywhere, but did however seem to have an odd obsession with my fridge. It also says the same 2 phrases over and over and over and when I tried to record my daughters name it didnt work and only played static each time I actually managed to get it to say her name (or at least where her name was supposed to be). I instantly decided that he was going back the next day so I put him back in the bag. The next day, before I was able to return him, my daughter ended up finding him and pulled him out of the bag. So i figured id let her try him out and if she liked him (for whatever reason) id keep him. She lost interest very quickly and actually picked him up by his ears and placed him back in the bag herself. She wasnt even the least big entertained. Im not sure if I just got a dud but My friend also purchased this for her daughter and she reported very similar outcomes as well. Waste of money and time returning this product. I have since than been looking on the market for a like toy but havent been able to find anything!
