(More customer reviews)I would not recommend this toy for any child. While the alphabet puzzle is mostly okay, it is still difficult to get a lot of the letters into their spots. The number puzzle, however, is a different story. The number 2, for instance, does not fit into the space for the number 2 in the 12 slot or the 20 slot. While they look similar, they're not cut exactly the same. This goes for all of the numbers, and is especially ridiculous when it comes to figuring out where all of the 1s go. I had to label the back of each number as to where it fit best. This can be very frustrating for a young child trying to learn. As a Melissa and Doug product, it is even more disappointing as this is their specialty. Generally, this is not worth your money.
