I was looking for something that was easy to clean up and would limit the amount of wasted paint that usually happens with normal paint tubes or bottles. As far as waste and clean up goes, these are much nicer than a bottle of paint. If you have kids or teach an art class to little ones, use these! What I noticed about this product is it's more like watercolor than tempera. It's very translucent and the more water you use the better the finished product will turn out. All the colors that came with the pack are bright and blend-able so overall it's a good product.
