They appeal to boys and girls from toddler through grade school. The products are durable, realistic-looking and timeless. I purchased the African-American dolls as "neighbors" for our caucasian family. We live in Africa, so all our neighbors really are....African!

(More customer reviews)We have a vintage Fisher Price dollhouse for my 5 year old and she needed a baby to go with it so we purchased this set for Christmas 2009. I love first of all that she now has some diversity in her dollhouse, but I also love that this mom is babywearing! My 5 year old is happy to have an infant in her dollhouse now. Great purchase and highly recommended!

These smiling, nicely detailed figures make playing house more fun--with or without a dollhouse. Just under 6 inches tall, Mom is casually dressed for housework, barbecues, or a shopping trip. Jointed at knees and hips, she stands and sits without support. Her head turns, and her arms are jointed at the shoulders to move forward and back as well as out wide in welcome. The baby, who is 2.5 inches long, is jointed at hips and shoulders. She can sit or lie down, wave bye-bye, and raise her bottle for a sip of milk. She loves to nestle in Mom's arms and be rocked to sleep.
