(More customer reviews)We got this for my three year old daughter, who really, really loves the story "Little Red Riding Hood." These felt figures are very nice quality and very well thought out! There are 15 cut outs in the set, including two scenes - a forest path and grandmother's house. They even included a black and white insert with the story printed out and some pages to color. And the toy is made in the USA! We are so pleased that we made this purchase.

Shure - Mosaic Tile Box Review

(More customer reviews)This box is SO cute. The tiles are also nice, but the paint is terrible! The paint did not go on well at all. We ended up going to the craft store to buy paint for the tiles, which was not cheap. Cute idea, bad paint.

(More customer reviews)Nice chart over all. The numbers are pre-cut & loose in package, so you have to sort them out (they are not loose in any specific order) when 'stuffing' the chart. And because they have 'handy' color options for teaching purposes, you also have to sort out the colored numbered cards. I am not 100% sure yet the rhyme or reason behind what numbers might be blue on one side and nothing on the other side, where other numbers are one side green, one side blue and others are blank one side green the other, etc...I'm sure it will make sense the more I use the chart with it's intended purposes. I felt the chart was a nice size, not too large, but not small either. The number cards fit tightly in the pockets.

(More customer reviews)This outfit made my granddaughter feel very special on Christmas morning last year. She put it on immediately and insisted on wearing it all day. She cradled her baby doll for some precious photo opts. Although the dress is just costume quality, it's fine for limited wear. One thing to know. The dress, which has a white front panel and blue robe-like sleeves and back, runs big. My granddaughter was wearing size 5 at the time, but still the 4-6 dress was almost too big to stay on her. If you have a size 4 child, be prepared to take it in and hem it up a bit to avoid tripping. Still, it was a hit and much enjoyed.

Even some of the adults enjoyed lacing up the animals. Fun for all!

This Old Man Story Set Review

(More customer reviews)I liked the concept of this toy-- it uses the story to go along with the doll. I think it is helpful to have a physical object to manipulate that coincides with the story. However, some of the items that went into the doll's numbered pockets didn't directly match the book. The main issue I had was that the doll was HUGE; I thought it would be about 12" tall, but it was closer to 36" tall. It kind of freaked my 3 year old out.

Small World Express Mix-It-Up Shape Sorter Review

(More customer reviews)I own a very similar toy, with the same set of features including 4 Quick Change Critters. It's a dump truck instead of a cement mixer. I got it for my 17mo old son. He likes the sound effects, although he expects the truck to move like his other push-n-go cars, and it does not. The Critters are a cute and inventive approach, one problem being that the Circle shape is so quick to change into a bird that my child has trouble pushing it thru its hole. My only real complain is that the shape container is too small for the Critters! It is impossible to push all 4 shapes inside without rearranging them (by an adult).

Backyardigan's Sailor Pablo Review

The only negative is that Pablo sings one song. And that song really gets irritating! Overall, I'm happy cause my baby is happy !:)

Small World Express Tailgate Trio-Flight Review

(More customer reviews)As a parent I soon realized pot and pans and cardboard boxes can be a lot more fun than some of the fancy gadgets with bells and whistles I have and continue to buy. This toy defies gravity as my son has tossed them around the room a couple of times and they keep on ticking. This combination of train and airplanes is all my son needs to keep him in his crib for an hour without making a peep. Well he also needs the dump truck version of these and his stuffed animals but they work. My only complaint is the magnets did not the same direction on the planes and the trucks I bought separately. This frustrated my two year old to no end. I was able to switch them with a screw driver, but the helicopter only goes one way the rest could be turned. So I had to do it twice. I would do it again as this is a winner in the clutter of beeping talking and other wise annoying toys. The girls love them to because they seem to not get enough "vehicles" and this one is so fun to push and pull.

The "Storytellers" part of the horse is that it has a zipper on the back that contains the printed stories. The toy was a Christmas gift for my toddler nephew. I have not seen it since it was unwrapped.

What a disappointment though... after they "arrange" the blocks to make an animal, they press it to hear it's sound, but it's quite difficult for her to press down to actually make the sound (I had to push down rather hard on it for it to work, she couldn't do it at all). And it's much more difficult carrying the toy around because the blocks fall out very easily. Sometimes it wouldn't make the sounds at all even. She lost interest in this almost right away, and even if I sat with her to help her with this toy, she just was not impressed and usually wandered away soon after.

Kaplan Kolors Washable Tempera Paint - Purple (16 oz.) Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this paint in about 6 different colors for a visual art project where people were rolling/dancing through paint on large drop cloths. I was pretty disappointed in the consistency of the paint -- it was extremely watery. I later used the left over paint to try and make some posters, and I had to re-paint the words about 6 times to make the letters show up dark enough to see from a slight distance. However, I did appreciate the low price, so I suppose you get what you pay for. Next time though, I would probably pay extra for something a little thicker/darker.

Sheskin Jungle Beasts 300 Piece Puzzle Review

The pieces are nice and thick and durable, and the puzzle is a nice size. All of the animals made it easy for my son to put together parts of this difficult puzzle and then put his finished animals into the large picture, so he was really able to contribute. Great puzzle!
