(More customer reviews)This was our first purchase of Automoblox. We questioned whether they would hold the interest of our grandchildren and if the quality would justify the cost. The Automoblox did all of these things and more. The both our grand daughter and grand sons played with them the day of the birthday party and the next morning they were one of the first things they got out. They are simple, well made, and educational. Parts from the same size of cars interchange with any of the others that same size. We like that if a part gets lost you can order another rather than just having a broken toy. I am sure that the collection will grow with our grandchildren! The minis were the perfect size to fit in the hand of our grandson that was turning 3.

Automoblox T9 Truck Green by Automoblox Review

(More customer reviews)I bought the Automoblox truck for my grandson's 4th birthday. It has an instant hit. He liked that he could take the truck apart and put together another combination.
The truck body is actually 3 parts, the front end, the truck cab(body) and the truck bed, joined together by very easy to use bright green plugs. The truck puts together as shown in the images, or the cab can be eliminated to make a cute little "buggy".
This toy is very sturdy and appears to be well designed and engineered. I'll be checking with my grandson to see how well his Automoblox truck is holding up to daily play. The Automoblox information says that each Automoblox model is interchangeable with other models. So, if this model is holding up well, I will be ordering at least one of the other models for Christmas.
Caution for those with smaller children who still like to eat their toys; there are wooden people who plug into the inside of the truck cab, the toy loses very little play appeal if you tuck those away until the eating urge passes.
The only downside I can think of is that the price was a bit high. However, it does come in a very sturdy cardboard box that seems designed to create the image of an heirloom toy. I can see that happening. All in all, if the toy holds up as it appears it is designed to do, that is money well spent.

I haven't found another toy car that is so toddler friendly, and gives them complete control at the same time. The materials used are very high quality. We plan on buying a few more so he can interchange the pieces.

Automoblox Mini A9 /M9 /X9-X 3-Pack by Automoblox Review

(More customer reviews)These are among the most simple but clever toys we have seen. Our 3 1/2 yr old son got the mini set as a gift a few years ago and they are still his most favorite toys. He also got one of the larger ones, which has not been as popular with him maybe b/c he has only one and can't interchange the parts. He really loves to mix and match the minis and to create stretch limousines w/the parts! My only compalaint is that he's already managed to break several of the rubber tires, although it's not surprising since this kid manages to break practically anything and usually does so within the first few hours of playing with it (the Automoblox lasted for several months without any damage!). I was glad to see from someone else's review that you can re-order missing or broken parts (we've also managed to lose a few of the wheels and tires even though we don't let him take them out of the house... hmmm). Just be careful if you have younger kids since the wheels and tires on the minis and the little people in the larger ones are definite choking hazards.
