(More customer reviews)When I was a kid in the 1960s my dentist had an old set of these in his waiting room, then later a friend had some. I was always fascinated with all the different ways they would hook together and stay with just gravity, particularly the way the point on the head nestled into the shoulder of another. And what really set it off for me was the strange appearance of the characters. The oddly menacing Bill Ding himself and his paunchy, grinning henchmen. I notice on ebay that the original toys way back when eventually came out with a set called "Bill Ding, Junior" with the same outlines, but with happy clown faces and hats and clown suits with big buttons, presumably because younger children found the originals too frightening. And they finally looked more like "balancing clowns" like the name says.
