The colours used attract an infant's eye, which is really great. Some pages crinkle, some squeak. There are three in a box so the baby doesn't get bored of them. All three have three pages, handles that have toys on them, and each page has an image front and back. Our daughter is almost 1 now and she loves to read us stories from her books. It's her moment to read to us, it's fun.
