(More customer reviews)I'm a middle school RLA teacher and I've previously invested in several sets of self-inking stamps. When I saw this, I had great visions of saving space and portability. The idea, 6 stamps in 1, is great, and the different Super Stamp Stations have stamps with the perfect messages, but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the stamps.
I ordered from Really Good Stuff, which I've previously always been happy with, but I ordered 3 different stamp stations and of the 3, 2 of them had 1 or more defective stamps.
Now that I finally have 3 properly manufactured stamp stations, I'm still not happy with the way they work. The stamping is uneven and I have to press perfectly with even weight to get the stamp so it is legible on the student's paper. Some stamps on the station (or just parts of a stamp) hold too much ink, so it bleeds and looks sloppy. I thought it would be a time saver, but I have to be so precise when I stamp that I think it actually takes longer than switching between different stamps in a set of self-inking (or even manual inking) stamps.
For teachers with tight budgets (and show me a teacher who isn't on a tight budget), I'd cross this off the wish list

When my 9 year old received them she was thrilled, it's similiar to what her teacher uses on her school papers and since my daughter loves to play school we thought it would be a great Christmas gift. After we opened both of them and tried to use them, they both had dried up ink pads, we purchased additional ink to make it work, but it was a complete mess. When we were able to get the ink pad out and reink it, it was near impossible to put it back with out it folding up. That was it, put it back in the package and sent it back. The item is a cute idea and we would have loved it if it would have worked.
