(More customer reviews)First off, these toys do not break. They are way too expensive, but in a world of flimsy plastic, they are refreshing for parents.
Now, I personally have fun rolling this thing along and watching the bales of hay pop out the back. My 2-yr-old, though, he loves the little guy. I don't know what it is that is so much better than Fisher Price Little People, but he ignores them, and sleeps with this little farmer dude. He will periodically reintroduce the farmer to his combine and drive it around, but the friction-powered rolling slows him down really - he wants to race this mofo' across the floor and he can't quite do that.
But still, it's a big hit, stays out in use, and has enough red in it to make it clear that is is not a complete product licensing infringement yet still look realistic too!

Harvey is an amazing green machine and has lots of functions to discover. He's friction powered with a realistic engine sound. Children can feed in the plastic bales of hay & watch them drop out the back as Harvey moves along, while the grains rattle around in his rotating thresher. The grain spout swivels out and the farmer figure is removable for hours of imaginative play.
