Ambi Chirpy Bird Kids Two in One Whistle and Bath Toy Review

Ambi Chirpy Bird Kids Two in One Whistle and Bath Toy
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Our daughter is 11 months old so she still hasn't figured out how to use this whistle but us adults get a kick out of it. We have also bought other horns (tommy toot and one man band) from this company and are very satisfied with the quality. The best part about this toy is that its a basic horn when you blow into the tail, but if you fill the body up with water and blow into it, it literally sounds like a bird chirping. I don't know how they figured out how to make a water-filled bird-whistle but it is the coolest thing. We play with it in the bath. I'm sure when our daughter reaches the age the toy is intended for she will be able to use it herself.

Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Doll High Chair Review

Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden Doll High Chair
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this highchair for my 4year old's birthday. I looked at several other models before purchasing that were between $25 and $30 but they seemed flimsy and looked cheaply made. This one is very sturdy and quite lovely. The legs are solid and round, not just a single piece cut out of 1/4" plywood like the others. It was easily assembled with clear instructions. And it handles a good amount of weight, as my 40 pound little girl decided to sit in with no problems. This is a solid, sturdy, well made toy that is pretty as well, just what I always expect from "Melissa and Doug" products. It was well worth the extra money in my opinion!

G?tz Cosy Aquini Europe 2011 Review

What a beautiful doll! We named he Kim, because she looks a lot like Belgian tennis player Kim Clijsters. My niece is taking her everywhere: bath, bed, playroom. It's easy to clean and it is drying fast. Kim is so soft and huggable. It's 13 inch, which is perfect size for girls 3 and up.

Baby Alive Bouncin' Babbles - Blonde Review

Baby Alive Bouncin' Babbles - Blonde
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love this Baby Alive Bouncin' Babbles. She's just too cute for words. She arrives to you in a box shaped like a play pen and is tied in with cords. Instructions are under the 'play pen', so if you carefully open the bottom up, you can actually keep the box in its shape and have it be an added accessory for the doll! It helps, too, for storage and imaginary play. You'll see an example of this in the video posted. She'll arrive with AA's already, but you're in charge of replacing them when they run out of juice.
The dolls main play activity is jumping. If you press her hand, she'll jump up and down or coo. Keep her upright when jumping or you'll hear a clicking sound-- you'll hear it in the video. She really is an adorable doll. The cooing sounds and laughs are sure to make you smile, instead of cringe (like some dolls who talk).
As for sturdiness, as long as you don't smash her legs down or drop her from a high distance, she should be fine. Her hair is molded (in various colors)and her arms are filled with beans (like a bean bag).
This doll is adorable and should entertain your toddler well enough. At the very least, Baby Alive will keep the young at heart smiling.

Gotz 15" Brunette Bath Baby Doll Review

Gotz 15 Brunette Bath Baby Doll
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We gave this doll to my daughter for her 4th birthday last year. While it is a lovely doll and she plays with it often, calling it a "bath doll" is something of a joke. If you want a doll your child can take in the bath, then dry off and play with, this is not the doll! It takes lots and lots of prolonged squeezing and drip-drying before she can come out of the tub and be played with (otherwise water keeps dripping out of her joints -- legs, arms, neck, eyes) It is usually several days before ours can be played with dry, and that is only after an adult has vigorously squeezed and shaken the doll several times to get all the water out of her head, arms, legs etc. I thought a bath doll would be solid or sealed plastic, so the water couldn't get in. If I were buying a bath doll again, I would not buy this product.

Manhattan toy Baby Stella Doll Review

Manhattan toy Baby Stella Doll
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I know I'm supposed to tell how much my children love this toy. The fact is I love Baby Stella. It's the first doll I've bought for my baby 9-month old twins, and they're still a little skeptical. Stella is about a foot tall (Product Description says 15 inches but mine is 12). My babies haven't seen anything like this before, and she looks like them in a way.
They hold Stella as if they love her and then they throw her. They also like to pull Stella's pacifier off. That's fun for them. This pacifier is way too big for my babies' mouths so it's not dangerous at this stage. You can loop your finger or thumb through the handle of the pacifier. The pacifier has a magnet and locks on pretty tightly to Stella's mouth. My babies are not at the stage where they try to put the pacifier back on.
Stella's belly and feet feel as if she has little round crunchy things inside like barley or buckwheat. All the rest of her (head, arms and legs) are made of thick foam inside. She has seven tiny strips coming out of the top of her head - her hair. They like to put any part of her in their mouths and we wonder if they're kissing Stella. They haven't discovered that they can take her clothes, including her diaper off. Those are held by velcro in some places, but in a way that seems seamless. I think it will be awhile before they find that out.
My guess is they'll love this doll as much as I do. And I've never loved a doll either. It's just such a joy to buy your girl's first doll. Others have said I should get two. I hadn't thought of that earlier for some reason. If you see me with another review and that Amazon Verified Purchase logo, you'll know what happened.

Baby Alive Better Now Baby - Caucasian Review

Baby Alive Better Now Baby - Caucasian
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This doll doesn't "do" anything but I think that's the best part! It's a basic rubber doll with molded hair. The accessories are fun and encourage role play. No batteries needed. And the doll doesn't cry, sing, dance, walk etc. But it does pee after you give her cup of water. We bought the potty and cloth diaper set in Target for $[...] and an extra outfit with a cloth diaper (Target brand $[...]). They work perfectly and I don't have to worry about extra paper diapers. This doll can also be put in a tub without fear of being ruined. You can get Target brand bath tub with extra accessories for $[...] or just let your kid take a bath with the doll. Who needs batteries, disposable diapers and fake food products that will mold inside of the "real" baby alive doll (that grosses me out). I think it is a nice basic toy, good quality and durable. You can use regular bandaids on her too when the stickers are all used up. I'm just SUPER ANNOYED that all dolls now come in blond/blue eyed (and speak in English), brunette with brown eyes (speak in Spanish) and African American (speak in English). Really? Not everyone who's not Hispanic is blond and blue eyed. And what about boy dolls? Seriously, we're having a baby boy soon and I can't find any male dolls in stores. That's unexcusable!!! But that's a different story for a different day.
