(More customer reviews)I bought this toy at Target. I really like the color palate and all the components including some functional components like a comb, nail brush and bathing cups. I like how all the parts fit inside the boat for storage. It is fun to play with. Our friend's four year old really loves it and can easily hook the fish with the fishing rod. Our 10 month old even enjoys playing with some parts like the cups and the captain of the boat. It is not very durable though, we've only had it for a couple of months and the wind-up wheel on the ferry is broken, as well as half of the tails on the fish. The wind-up wheel snapped when I was winding it, so if you do get it, be cautious about winding it up too much. The fish tails are just a little fragile. Two of them have completely snapped off and the other two are fractured. Only the fish that is also a nailbrush is not showing any signs of wear and tear because it is made of sturdier material. If you are looking for durability this is not a good purchase.

Magnetic Boats In The Tub Review

(More customer reviews)These little boats are pretty basic. But unlike most of our bath toys, they do not tip over or take on water and sink. And because they don't fill up, if they get thrown out of the tub they don't leak a quart of water all over the floor. That's why they are Mom's favorite of the bath toys.
The kids think they're a lot of fun because we have an iron/porcelain tub, so the magnet end of each boat sticks to the bathtub, as well as connecting to the other boats. You can see the gears turning in their little minds as they play with the magnets.
So, I think these are pretty good toys and not so overpriced. Yes, they're more than the little boats you can buy at a discount store. But these don't sink or go bottoms up, or quit working for lack of a battery. Just a good, basic toy.

Ambi Chirpy Bird Kids Two in One Whistle and Bath Toy Review

(More customer reviews)Our daughter is 11 months old so she still hasn't figured out how to use this whistle but us adults get a kick out of it. We have also bought other horns (tommy toot and one man band) from this company and are very satisfied with the quality. The best part about this toy is that its a basic horn when you blow into the tail, but if you fill the body up with water and blow into it, it literally sounds like a bird chirping. I don't know how they figured out how to make a water-filled bird-whistle but it is the coolest thing. We play with it in the bath. I'm sure when our daughter reaches the age the toy is intended for she will be able to use it herself.

Most of the pieces will cling to the tub, but some don't...Because there's no storage, they are all floating throughout the bath, making it difficult for a little one to find the piece she wants...It's a great idea, but could have several IMPROVEMENTS to make it a 5 star toy.

Thomas the Tank Engine Train & Friends Sodor Bath Island Review

Most of the past reviews were unfavorable, but I thought the toy was so cute and the idea of a Thomas the Train bath toy was great since my son loves Thomas. The idea is great, but the quality is poor. Here's why: The toy connects in pieces such that you have a floating Island of Sodor, and Thomas can ride up and down the track into a blue tower with an elevator mechanism. What doesn't work well is that the pieces don't fit well together so the island actually breaks apart when any slight pressure is placed upon the toy. And because the island doesn't stay together, the other parts like the tunnel don't stay on either. My son loves this toy, but we can't make it through bath time without it breaking apart. I am willing to attempt a repair just so we can keep playing with it, but you shouldn't have to do that. This toy is a great concept, but could have been made more durable.

He is now five and we STILL have the fisherman and the bigger outer boat! It does NOT fill up with water on the inside, and the outer boat is big enough to haul around other small bath toys. You might get a pathetic little peep out of each dolphin and that's about it. The other negative about this toy is that it takes up a LOT of space. We have a large 6 ft tub, and these creatures completely fill the tub ledge. The idea behind the toy is cute, but I think it just wasn't achievable with the design/engineering chosen.

Thomas and Friends Bathtub Squirters Review

(More customer reviews)My 3 year-old son LOVES tub toys, especially tub squirters, so I thought these would be perfect - given his obsession with Thomas the Tank Engine. And truth be told, he does like playing with them. But ...
* they don't float upright! They float lying on their sides.
* they're stiff & difficult to completely fill with water. If you want the water to squirt out the top of the train's funnel (like steam) they have to be totally full and you have to squeeze pretty hard. It's too difficult for my 3 year-old. When only partially filled (which is normal) you have to turn them upside down to get them to squirt. They squirt well like that - a nice steady stream - but kind of defeats the purpose.
Overall, my son likes them, but does get frustrated when they don't float upright. He likes playing with them out of the tub too. But, if I would have know the above things, I'm not sure I would have bought them. Even though they are only $10.

(More customer reviews)We've had this toy for about 6 months now... its easy to clean and my 2 year old son loves it. We did read the many negative reviews, but because it wasn't much money and my son is obsessed with Thomas the train... we thought we'd get it. And I'm glad we did. I think the trick to keeping the track up is wetting the suction cups before "sliding" them down in place. That seems to help and it doesn't fall down.

(More customer reviews)We are huge Elmo fans and what better idea for my two year old to enjoy bath time than to have him give Elmo his bath. Except this thing is a piece of overpriced junk. Suction cup for tub doesn't stick, Elmo does not relly fit into tub well, Elmo figure is hollow plastic with wide seams and he immediately fills with water and has never completely dried since (yuck/mold), cheap toy that is overpriced and the cute concept of your child giving the much-loved Elmo his bath is completely lost with the frustration that ensues once the toy is taken out of the package.
