My daughter who just turned two in october is having speech problems and works with a speech teacher once a week for an hour. she just started this in august and has developed alot within few months. One of their main toys they play with is puzzles. so this one i saw was great for her to work with the clothing and love the interchangable faces showing that one is grumpy,sad,happy,etc.
Plus my four year old likes to join along to play too!

It is cute and has fun sounds, but the coins only release from the slot about 50 percent of the time right out of the box. At 8 months old my little one needs help getting the coins back into the bank. She can work the tail on her own, but since nothing happens half the time she loses interest quickly.

Fisher-Price My First Dollhouse Review

(More customer reviews)my daughter LOVES this dollhouse. Its for C-mas, but I got it out to make sure everything was there. Well, my 17 mo old saw it and LOVED it, even when it was not all put together. When I tried to box it up, she threw a fit. The people are just the right size for chubby toddler hands. The chairs are a little hard for a toddler to get one of the people to sit in them. There are also a few sounds, but not so many that it discourages imagination. It seems very durable. I know there are a few extra "rooms" you can get to add furniture (recommended because this house comes with very little), but the house is not too big, so not sure how all the available accessories will fit, but I am sure they will.
Now I can't wait for C-mas so I can get it back out and we can play house!

(More customer reviews)My 7month old LOVES this toy. We take LuLu everywhere we go. He loves hitting her belly and watching the letters change. It keeps him very entertained. Her voice is also actually really cute which is a nice change from some toys. :)
I definitely recommend this toy. It's great for helping with sitting up as well. I just place it between his legs and he hits away.
The only con is the switch is in the back and you have to leave her unvelcro'd to get at it.

These dolls are the perfect size for a toddler. It's easy to access all the rooms without knocking over the furniture when you trying to set up house! There isn't a better My First Dollhouse available for toddlers. The dolls all have moving arms and legs, making it easy for the children to pose them.
