Fisher-Price Handy Manny Spinner Power Screwdriver Review

Fisher-Price Handy Manny Spinner Power Screwdriver

From the description I expected the drill to actually spin around. We have a Home Depot toy power drill that actually works as a power drill when you hold the button down, and I thought I would get this Handy Manny one so my kids wouldn't fight so much over the Home Depot drill. But with this Handy Manny toy drill, you press the button and just get one spin. You have to keep pumping the button over and over, and you couldn't actually use it to screw in a toy screw. Kind of a let down. Really it just talks a lot.

Learning Curve Bob the Builder - Deluxe Electronic Toolbox Playset Review

Learning Curve Bob the Builder - Deluxe Electronic Toolbox Playset

I totally agree with the above poster. My son loves this toy, but the pieces are always falling apart (it is a toolbox shape that opens and folds back up) The hinged pieces are always coming apart. I have stopped bothering to put it together to put it away. It is a very annoying toy because of this. They could have totally improved the design on this toy and I would have given it a good rating. I wouldn't recommend it until the manufacturer decides to put money and thought into the design. I find it to be a cheap piece of junk that didn't have to be.

Fisher-Price Handy Manny Construction Site Playset Review

My son (5) had circled this in the toy catalogue as one of his "wants" for his Birthday or Christmas. He got it for his birthday and I figured it would just be another set that we lost all the pieces and unltimately stayed in a box in his closet but this set is actually really cool. It comes with plenty of pieces to have a lot of pretend play and the building is easy enough for even my 2 year old to put back together to ultimately knock down again (Although her little hands aren't as steady and sometimes knocks it down trying to put it back together). The box it comes in is actually a very nice box to store it all right back in other than I wish they hadn't left the top right corner open but stored standing you won't loose anything. We also stored all of the smaller pieces into a ziploc. The box is big enough that I think if we purchase the other buildings they will all fit into this one box. We did however learn the first time we put the crane together that if you want to store it back in the box don't push the crane all the way into the base or it will take a flathead screwdriver and much patience to get it back apart. The crane actually fits in without snapping quite securely. The truck that was included is a nice little truck and the tailgate even comes open so you can slide the cinder blocks into the back of it from the conveyor. My 2 year old has turned the conveyor into a slide for the other guy that is included (we call him Chuck Norris or Bob Villa as he looks a lot like either). All in all, I think this set is definately worth the money as both my 2 and 5 year old both greatly enjoy it and can each use all the pieces just fine.

I bought this as a gift for my 2 year old to open on my 1 year old's birthday. Now the 2 year old loved the toy but the baby loves it just as much. He already knows how to put the gas can in the opening to make the sounds. They have been fighting over it for the past week. It also shows my older boy how to fix things and helps them both learn. Overall its a great toy and very durable. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone.

Fisher-Price Disney's Handy Manny Ripp Chain Saw Review

Fisher-Price Disney's Handy Manny Ripp Chain Saw
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Dad and Grandpa had wood to cut with their chain saws so this seemed like a natural and it truly was a hit. It's well made, comes with the batteries installed. It's as real as you want to get for a three year old who was happy to use it all day. The "chain" is rounded, soft plastic that rotates realistically. Manny is a familiar character. It's loud enough to hear and understand, but the noise level is tolerable, at least for a couple of hours... then when Manny says "let's cut some more wood" you don't know whether to laugh or cry...laughing works best.
