(More customer reviews)Hi, I'm StoryMaker. I have to disagree with the other reviewer. For one thing, touching a blend or digraph will cause its sound to be said in this LeapPad book. In addition, there are some fun games that can help kids practice. I think that, with practice, kids can use this book to master many different blends & digraphs. It is not only fun for kids, but it also can teach a lot of different blends & digraphs. One of the only problems I can think of is that, when a blend or digraph is touched, the LeapPad responds by saying "the blend sound, [whatever you touched]". This actually caused me to forget all about digraphs and think it was all just blends. Also, they don't really say the definition of blends or digraphs in the first place (it would be better if they did). Still, I believe that this is a good way to teach kids about many different blends & digraphs. However, you might want to also explain what a blend or digraph is, since this book doesn't offer that information. Signed, StoryMaker. "Gotta trust the kid's review!"

Hooked on Phonics Learn to Read Pre-K Deluxe Edition Review

(More customer reviews)We recently had to replace our computer, and it came with Windows 7 installed on it. These CD-ROMs were made before Windows 7 came out, and none of the music videos play on our computer. My daughter can play the games, but can't play any of the videos. I called HOP and they said these are outdated. The newest versions of HOP are made for DVD players. They offered no resolution to the issue. She is dissappointed, and so am I.
