(More customer reviews)We bought this toy, along with the similar rocket version for our son's birthday. I was thrilled to finally have found a "big jet" toy. However, within hours of opening, the back wheel had fallen off. The wheel on the rocket came off as well. Thinking it a fluke, we took both toys back to the retailer and received new ones. AGAIN, the wheels came off in a short period of time. This time I called Fisher price and explained the situation. I sent them the toy to examine, and received a refund. I have heard no feedback from FP regarding the obvious safety issue.
This toy is marked for ages 3 and up. That is too young an age group, as both wheels are smaller in diameter then a toilet paper tube, and thus fail the consumer product safety standards. My child was luckily supervised during its use, or the wheels might have ended up somewhere else. AVOID!
