I have purchased many, many Little Einsteins toys for my grandson. He absolutely loves this one, but sadly after ONE WEEK the wheels came off and he was almost injured by the protruding axle. Whoever makes this toy should be ashamed!

Little Einstein's Pat Pat Rocket Review

I first saw this toy on ebay and started looking in our regular stores for it; finally, we found it at Target. My 5-year-old loves the Little Einsteins, so he was excited when I let him use his birthday money to buy this (since he was disappointed Santa didn't bring something like this last year). After taking it out of the box (much to my surprise, Fisher-Price improved the packaging so it doesn't take 30 minutes to get it out), we tried to put the figures in their seats - it's really difficult. They have assigned seats - opposite of the way they're sitting on TV, as far as I can tell - and need to be put in just right. To our surprise, when we put Leo in and pushed down, we heard June's voice, when we put June it, out came Leo's voice. I don't know if it's just ours that's wired wrong, but my son was disappointed by that. When it's turned on, it is just way too loud - hearing loss in the making. There is no volume control. I think the noise even bothers my son, because he rarely turns it on. I also agree with a previous reviewer that it's very heavy. Although it's a must-have toy for a Little Einsteins fan, since it's the only Rocket toy around that seats the figures, it could definitely use some improvement.

Rocket will begin to start up as the child pats along. You can hear various classical music pieces along with Rocket sound effects. Roll Rocket quickly or slowly along the table and the music will begin to play according to the rocket?s speed. It is recommended for ages 3 and above.

The Little Einsteins Big Jet Review

The Little Einsteins Big Jet

We bought this toy, along with the similar rocket version for our son's birthday. I was thrilled to finally have found a "big jet" toy. However, within hours of opening, the back wheel had fallen off. The wheel on the rocket came off as well. Thinking it a fluke, we took both toys back to the retailer and received new ones. AGAIN, the wheels came off in a short period of time. This time I called Fisher price and explained the situation. I sent them the toy to examine, and received a refund. I have heard no feedback from FP regarding the obvious safety issue.
This toy is marked for ages 3 and up. That is too young an age group, as both wheels are smaller in diameter then a toilet paper tube, and thus fail the consumer product safety standards. My child was luckily supervised during its use, or the wheels might have ended up somewhere else. AVOID!
