Step2 Real Projects Workshop Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This little workshop has got to be one of the cutest toys! I bought it for my daycare - but my 17 month old daughter loves playing with it too! The screwdriver "works" with batteries, and it comes with several other tools. I also love all of the foam "wood" pieces. Although my daughter doesn't understand what to do with them, she still thoroughly enjoys playing with them. She also really likes putting things in the pullout drawer. Assembly is pretty quick - although the holes are not pre-drilled for the 4 big screws. But pre-drilling them myself was no problem.
The ONLY downfall is that the foam blocks don't stay together that well. They can be put together, but are easily pulled apart through light playing. But overall, I would not say that's a big deal. I'm sure kids will enjoy playing with it no matter what!

Step2 Soft and Sturdy Grid Lock Blocks Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 4 year old son received these for Christmas this year. Within about 3 minutes he had built a birdhouse and then a boat with the blocks.
The block fit together well and the assembled shapes hold together well. The variety of shapes is not the greatest (no circles, for example) but they do provide a lot of fun.

Sesame Street Sing n' Giggle Tool Bench Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is an adorable tool bench. It is so much better than the wooden tool bench I played with as a child. Elmo sings a song at the push of a button. The saw (Bert and Ernie) and the drill (cookie monster), cracks jokes. When the nails or the bolts are driven/screwed into the bench it makes appropriate noises. Adults seem to be enamored with this toy as well. My father-in-law couldn't stop playing with it; long after my son went to bed. There is a tool belt that you can purchase separately, however I would not suggest buying it. It is cute and there is a space for it on the tool bench, however it also comes with a hammer and screwdriver. It seems unnecessary to have two of each. Elmo's song does seem to be a bit loud, but you can push the same button to end the song. Overall, I think this was a great purchase.

Kids can "whistle while they work" on this child-sized tool bench that features favorite Sesame Street friends. Kids can use a Cookie Monster drill press and a Bert and Ernie circular saw to complete all kinds of imaginary projects. They can turn gears on Oscar's trash, too. Elmo keeps all the tools handy and encourages pretend carpenters to use a hammer or screwdriver. Requires 3 "AA" batteries (included). Measures 31.25" x 14 x 23".
