I snatched this up because it was cute and cheap, but I am impressed at how great it is for the price I paid! There are numerous sayings, and it is just a lot of fun! My daughter loves it! I bought this for my nephew but needless to say she claimed it and I am picking up another one! Highly recommended!

Fisher-Price Elmo's World Talking Cell Phone Review

Fisher-Price Elmo's World Talking Cell Phone

This is so easy anyone can do it. My husband travels quite a bit, and since I can't stand to have things just laying around broken, and I for sure won't throw anything away, I've been left to figure out how to fix things on my own. If I can do it so can you! I decided to figure out what was up with this Elmo phone once and for all. After taking it apart I found that there are two metal tabs inside the slit( in the back of the phone where you had to remove the plastic tab when you took it out of the box) and when they touch the volume of the phone is lowered. When they don't touch the phone goes back to the regular audible volume. To FIX IT : The easy option A, which doesn't require you to take anything apart, is to take the piece of plastic from the original box (the one that you had to pull out in the first place to lower the volume "for the children's safety" and to cut it so that it fits into the slit without sticking out so the kids can't pull on it. Option B is to remove 6 screws (1.upper left hand corner under antenna, 2. upper right hand corner next to slit, 3.screw holding the battery cover on, remove batteries you will find 4 and 5 there. Set all of these aside. Look on the inside of the back cover where the slit comes through You'll two small pieces of metal, the top piece screwed on with a white wire coming out. This is the last screw to be removed and #6. Remove and discard. Clip the white wire where it it saudered/ connected and you can throw away the little metal piece. It is NOT needed for the toy to operate in anyway, it was only used to lower the volume. Once you've done this you can replace the lid put the screws and batteries back in and you'll have a working and AUDIBLE Elmo Phone!!

Fisher-Price Elmo's Tickle Hands Review

Fisher-Price Elmo's Tickle Hands
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My little one HAD to have tickle hands for her 3rd birthday. She seems to like them well enough but as with many toys I don't see this one having much staying power. It comes with a dvd that has Elmo singing his little song and a dance to go with the tickle hands but she loves going tickle everyone in the room with them. One hand is just cloth while the other has the box in it where the music comes from. Don't get accidently hit with the one with the music box in it...it'll hurt. Also the dog might not be so happy with the tickle hands (same goes for the cat). So if your child has heavy hands...I'd look for a different toy.

Put Elmo's Tickle Power in your child's hands! These big, furry, red Elmo hands (featuring Elmo's friendly face on one side) allow your kids to tickle & dance just like Elmo does! The gloves easily slide on to little hands and when Elmo's nose is pressed, the fun begins! When your child touches a surface to tickle, the hands start to vibrate & move allowing your child to feel like he can tickle just like Elmo! But that's not all! Touch Elmo's nose again and it's time to dance! Elmo will give instructions on how to do his brand new dance called, "The Tickle Hand Groove!" This new dance encourages kids to get moving & grooving! The hands also come with an instructional DVD that teaches kids how to do the new dance step by step! The DVD features Elmo and his mystery friend! Your child will be tickling, wiggling and giggling in no time at all! What's in the box: *2 red, furry gloves (one with Tickle Power & 2 "AA" batteries) *1 instructional DVD (featuring Elmo & his brand new dance, "The Tickle Hand Groove") Tons of tickles & giggles!

Bird's The Word Elmo Review

Bird's The Word Elmo
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this for my son last Christmas. He was 20 months old then. What a disappointment! Don't get me wrong, we LOVE Elmo! I also have a very high tolerance for "noisy" toys. It just repeats the same thing over & over. Very annoying! He also flaps his 'wings' and wobbles forward. That works OK if he is on a flat surface, but if he is on carpet or runs into ANYTHING he falls over and squirms. My son played with it for about 3 minutes & would never play with it again. I felt guilty selling it in my garage sale for $[...].

Bilingual Elmo Review

Bilingual Elmo
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My 8 month old daughter loves Elmo, and loves this toy. It is fun and educational, but, the problem that my Husband and I found was that we don't understand the Spanish version of the "Sunny Day" theme song. My husband is fluent in spanish thanks to his Mexican heritage and upbringing, but, we can't make out most of the words, we suspect it is Castillion Spanish (Which is not what they speak in Mexico), but it is hard to say for certain because of Elmos highpiched voice. We tried, unsuccessfully, to find the lyrics to the spanish version. I would say that for our family, this was the only drawback of the toy.

Adorable plush Elmo sings the popular "Sunny Day" song in both English and Spanish. Squeeze his left hand for English and his right hand for Spanish. Press his tummy and he'll say one of five phrases, translating Spanish to English (like "Sol means 'sun' in Spanish"). Kids will love singing along with Elmo and learning a song in two different languages. Requires 3 "AA" alkaline batteries, not included.

Fisher-Price Sesame Street Singing Pizza Elmo Review

Fisher-Price Sesame Street Singing Pizza Elmo
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
OK, I don't have kids and I got this thing as a gag gift. But it has more smiles per gallon that anything I've seen in a while. The tickle-me-elmo is just plain annoying unless you're 2 or have had unfortunate head trauma recently. But this thing is so bizarrely funny that I'm considering doll-napping it to fire up on rainy days or after scratching off another losing lottery ticket. The singing pizza is the piece-de-resistance, no pun intended. It will give you pause next time you order a slice for fear that you're eating an endangered species. Like eating dolphins or puppies.

Who doesn't love Elmo from Sesame Street? Now the cuddly red character comes to life in your own home, and he's cooking up some big fun. Recommended for children 18 months old and up, the Fisher-Price Sesame Street Singing Pizza Elmo will delight kids and adults with his singing and dancing. More Than A Stuffed Toy In his package--a cardboard diorama of an Italian kitchen--Singing Pizza Elmo stands with one arm extended and the other holding a pizza. Covered in velvety polyester material, Elmo is dressed in a red and white checkered apron and a plush cotton baker's hat. Much more than a stuffed toy, when Elmo's extended hand is pressed, he begins to move and talk. "Let's sing the pizza song together," he says, and begins his lighthearted pizza pie song and dance.Who Ordered The Talking Pizza? But Elmo isn't alone! The best part about this Sesame Street toy is the surprise singing pizza. Elmo's lovable friend has eyes that open and close, and a mouth that moves to the music. With a face made from pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper toppings, the talking pizza is made from soft rubbery plastic.Put To The Test While Elmo is soft to touch on the outside, his song and dance moves require hard plastic insides that make him too uncomfortable and heavy to be carried around by young children like a regular stuffed toy. Parents should also take note that this battery-powered toy is surface washable only. On the other hand, Singing Pizza Elmo's firm, plastic feet keep him standing on any flat surface--making him the ideal toy for stationary play and as a room decoration. An instant delight for kids, Elmo's cute voice brings smiles and laughs to babies, toddlers, and young children alike. At first parents will be charmed as well. The song and dance lasts around a minute, and it can only be stopped by switching the toy off. Elmo freezes immediately wherever he is; when turned back on, he starts his song from the beginning. Even if parents opt to take the batteries out from time to time for some peace and quiet, the adorable Elmo is still bound to bring joy to little ones. Pros
Delights children with their favorite character's voice and singing
Pizza comes to life with moving eyes and mouth
Elmo sways and dances to the music
Ideal for stationary play and decoration
Cons
Made with hard and heavy inside materials
Surface washable only

Fisher-Price Hokey Pokey Elmo Review

Fisher-Price Hokey Pokey Elmo
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Our 24-mo son really enjoys Hokey Pokey Elmo. Within minutes, he was trying to do the Hokey Pokey (have the camera or videocam handy) and the dog was doing some strange dance around the two of them. Unfortunately, Hokey Pokey Elmo doesn't stand up well to curious toddlers and 7-yr olds. If you have kids in the family who like to bend things to see how they work, then either 1. don't buy this toy, or 2. be prepared to buy another Elmo after the first one breaks. I was surprised at just how fragile Elmo's internal pieces are. The exterior material held up well and Elmo still sings, but after having his leg bent once and arm bent once, his Hokey Pokey days are over. We're choosing option two (buy another).

Scientific TALK 'N LEARN SCHOOL BUS (WITH TRY ME) Review

Scientific TALK 'N LEARN SCHOOL BUS (WITH TRY ME)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got this toy for my 26-month-old son for Christmas. He loves buses. He likes the music and the flashing lights on this bus. However it is difficult to press the buttons. It took me a while to figure out how to turn it on. There is an "On" sticker in one of the windows of the bus. However it doesn't look like a button. I pressed it several times and it didn't do anything, so I assumed it was just a decal. I then pressed it really hard and it turned on. My son sometimes has trouble with it. He'll keep pressing the "On" window over and over, and because his fingers are small and doesn't hit the exact location of the button, it doesn't turn on. He'll then bring it to me to do. The buttons on the side and top also have to be pressed with a little force in order for it to speak or make the sounds. When it does work my son loves it. I just wish it was a little easier for small children to operate.

When my 2 yo was asked what he wanted Santa to bring, he ONLY asked for a "play-Doh stick ball" after falling in love with the pack his 5 yo brother received on his birthday a month earlier. He naturally received these xmas morning and proceeded to open the whole pack and roll them together into one giant ball. Elmo & Cookie Monster Giggle Ball Review

Elmo and Cookie Monster Giggle Ball
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Elmo and Cookie Monster - together again.
This toy is cute. When you push Elmo's mouth, he says "Jiggly, Giggly! Ha ha ha ha!" as the ball vibrates. Push Cookie Monster's mouth, and he says "Shaky, Shaky! Ha ha ha ha! Whooooa!" If you pay too much attention to Elmo (press him 3 times in a row) Cookie says "Hello?" Likewise, if you press Cookie 3 times in a row, Elmo says, "Elmo's turn!" Push the two together and they say "Giggle Monsters!" and laugh.
This toy is not very soft (it's not plush) and the inner mechanics make it heavier than you would expect. The eyes and Elmo's nose make it pretty useless for rolling. But the sounds and vibrations make my twin 20-month old boys smile, and they play with it on occasion, but it doesn't keep them occupied for long stretches. As for durability, it appears well-made, but I don't think ours has been used enough to really put it to the test.
Overall, it's cute, but I think I like it more than the boys do.

My 17 month old son just received this as a gift and loves it! The Elmo car is his favorite part. The fire station makes noise, which he loves, but it does have an on and off switch. I have a 2.5 year old daughter. She has been watching Sesame Street DVDs almost since she was a little baby. She loves Elmo in Sesame Street, and she loves this toy, too. She is entertained by Hockey Pockey Elmo, when he dances my daughter tries to dance just like him.
I think the only drawback is that it is hard to find out how to make the toy work, it took us some time that we needed to squeeze his left hand for that.
Other than this, it's perfect.
