(More customer reviews)My kids like things that load and unload and move, so this was a hit. Also, later on my five year old thought to make the logs into a raft (with rubber bands) when he got a pirate set...very creative use of the toy and worked after I helped him with it.

(More customer reviews)I bought two boxes of these blocks for my son when he was two because blocks are a wonderful open ended toy. The blocks were well made and the paint never chipped on ours. Although the product was as described I would not buy them again.
I found these to be so small it took a lot of patience and time to build larger structures. My son's creations would take a while to build, then fall over easily. My son and I had a few opportunities to play with larger blocks and it was so much fun to assemble huge, more stable towers, quickly. I gave all our little blocks away and bought the Melissa and Doug set of 60. We now have a daughter who is almost one and both children use them daily in different ways. If I could do it all over again I would have saved money and began with the set of 60. We are considering a second set of the larger blocks since they are so much fun and well worth the money. [...]

(More customer reviews)I just gave this toy to my 3 year old for his birthday. He loves trains and loves Little People, so this was a big hit. It was easy to put together and has had hours of play in just a few days. He is quite rough with his toys so this has taken a beating already. It's holding up wonderfully. His 6 year old brother and 8 month old brother like playing with it too. I thought it would get boring after awhile with the short track, but the child can make the train go in the figure 8 or in an oval. The train stops in front of the station where music plays. My son hooks other Little People vehicles that have the hitch on them on the back of the train to make it longer. It's another fun and durable toy from Fisher Price. I love the Little People toys for my kids and this one was no disappointment.
