Matchbox Stinky The Garbage Truck Review

Matchbox Stinky The Garbage Truck
Average Reviews:

I wasn't sure about oredering Stinky unitl I saw You.Tube video of him. Stinkty came and my son loved him. It took him a day to learn all of Stinky's functions but he was aving fun with him right out of the box. Stinky performs everything as demonstrated. I did find one drawback. It would have been nice if the Matchbox have included a volume control in the design- Stinky is loud. I couldn't find anyway to muffle him but that is the only drawback. One other thing you should know is in the manufacturers directions it advises that Stinky not be played wit outside as dirt, sand and wter can cause him to malfunction so if you child takes him in the sandbox- he isn;t going to work and that's a lot of money to pay for a fancy Tonka toy. I think Matchbox shuld tell you that up front.
All said my four year old really seems to like playing with him. Amazon's price with free delvery was competitive with anything I've seen in stores and he is way cheaper than Big Foot who to me doesn't really do much of anything.

Playskool Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur Review

Playskool Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)

"Kota, Kota, Kota ... hahahahaha ..... rrrruuuuuup!" is the new catchphrase at the house lately.
My 18 month old son got one of these recently because his father couldn't resist, ahem. His mother says several times a day that his father is living his second-childhood.
Kota is a Triceratops that (with supervision - in the beginning) your little one can sit on and play with like there's no tomorrow. There's a handle behind the 'ear flaps' to help them stay on as well as a button for music.
The animal responds to voice and touch and makes an array of noises that are all humorous and laughable. My son giggles endlessly every time the thing belches, which is pretty funny.
Lately these toys have become a lot more advanced and much more interesting and interactive for kids. I've bought too many toys that my son just becomes quickly bored of, but both Kota and 'Spike the Dino' are his favorites.
I can't find anything at fault with this toy, and it's a better substitute for climbing on rather than the arms of the couches or trying to maneuver up unto the dining table. This is a good toy worth a few hours everyday. Turning it off also teaches a good lesson about sleeping, or rather "Doo daa doo daa"
The only thing I don't like are the 6 D batteries it uses rather than the rechargeable battery that comes with Spike. It's a minor point though. No biggie.

Wood Stacking Robots Review

Wood Stacking Robots
Average Reviews:

These robots are awesome! There are tons of ways to stack these guys - use all of them or just a few, make your "stack" symmetrical or not, use them upside down or sideways... Not only are the robots entertaining, they offer kids a playful way to develop spatial thinking and problem solving skills, and let them experiment with balance.
The robots are sturdy enough not to break when they fall (and they will!), but lightweight enough not to scuff hardwood floors or break a glass table (which I've unwittingly tried...).

Build a Robot Puzzle and Spinner Game Review

Build a Robot Puzzle and Spinner Game
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Build a Robot is a good game to have, and inexpensive enough to have at home as an emergency birthday gift for young children. For 2 to 4 players of almost any age, though children under 3 with supervision and best for younger children, maybe 7 and younger. It takes very little shelf space, comes in a strong glossy box that probably repels water. Toy has limited educational value, but it is educational. Children use number recognition, and match shapes and numbers. They use their creative skills putting together their robots, and can even use the robot pictures on the box top to help guide their assembly. Children can use creative play after building their robots, like naming their robots and interacting. The game has bright colors and a space theme that is a good lead toward space exploration or interest in science. In fact, I want my children to have an interest in science, and believe Build a Robot is a good influence in that direction. My six-year-old prefers games where he does things; he enjoys the opportunity to spin, build, choose, and stay busy. Takes just a short time to play. Even my husband and I enjoy playing it with the kids.

Chicco Baby Space Review

Chicco Baby Space
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I hate to select toys for our little boy, but I do not have to. My wife selects most and he gets an amazing number of gifts from well-meaning friends and relatives. One of the recent gifts is this Chicco remote-controlled robot. He enjoys seeing it wobble around and hearing it emit laughing and giggling sounds, electronic noises sounding like a defective R2D2 and flashing brightly-colored lights. It works somewhat like robot vacuum cleaners gong backward and forward in irregular patterns. He does not know how to operate it as yet so we operate if for him. It is a fun thing to diddle around with. The boy seems somewhat in awe and the cats run for cover. One of these days he will get onto how the remote control works and then his interest should pick up markedly. In any case, it is a rather weird toy. I would never choose it, but it was a gift and the boy seems to enjoy it.
