Uberstix UberPult Review

I agree with the previous reviewer. The instructions are not easy at all to follow. The color in the instructions don't match the colors of the actual pieces. Also they have one picture for about 10 steps. It makes it very difficult and time consuming to follow.
I would not recommend this for anyone under 12 years old, and in fact I would not recommend this for anyone. I helped my son, but I didn't have much fun. When we finally did get the catapult put together, it was pathetic. It shot a cog about 3 feet. It is possible that I didn't put it together correctly, but with the sad state of the instructions, I will never know.
The pieces seemed durable enough, though a few did suffer from stress fatigue, and it would seem likely that they would not last more than a few times of setting up the catapult.
This is a toy that seemed to have a lot of potential, but in the end was not worth the money. Lego kits are more fun even if they cost more. For the time you have to put into it for the result you get this is definitely not worth your money or time.

It's time to fling things with a purpose! Kids can now build a functional catapult and learn the physics that make launching objects through the air possible. The catapult itself only requires 90 of the kit's 181 pieces, leaving plenty of extra pieces to upgrade and explore new design options. As part of our Science Project Series, this kit includes a Lab Sheet to test and record a series of suggested experiments.

Uberstix Starter Set Review

I bought this for my K'nex obsessed son because they supposedly work with K'nex. I suppose they do, but they BREAK. In fact they break ALL the time! Evidently it's something the manufacturer is quite aware of because there's an illustration in the instruction book about how you can use them in their new forms when they break!
My son decided to stick with his K'nex and I'm out an Uber lot of money.
