(More customer reviews)I bought this for my son who is 19 months old. He LOVES playing in the water and so I thought he would enjoy this for many, many hours. While he does have fun with it, he likes spending most of the time taking the pieces off. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, except that when the lighthouse comes off and water gets into the base, the music plays OVER and OVER and OVER - kind of a problem for a toy that is supposed to have water in it. Also there is NO on/off button for the music which is annoying not only when water gets into the base of the lighthouse, but when we are trying to empty the water out and put it away.
Great idea for a toy, but I wouldn't recommend it until they come out with a new and improved version.

(More customer reviews)We have owned this water play table for nearly siz months, and its play value has not decreased at all. It is short enough that our 16 month old has always been able to participate comfortably, and interesting enough that it still attracts my 4 and 6 year old children as well.
The water wheel is great fun, and the children love scooping water into its reserve to make it spin. The two levels of the table give the children individual play space if two children are playing. Now that winter is approaching, I look forward to adding sand instead of water to the table. I appreciate the easy-to-open plugs built into the basin, as it makes it easy to remove water (or sand). The toy, though sturdy, is also lightweight enough for an adult to pick up and simply pour water out, if desired. Children cannot, however, easily move or turn the table over.

Wader Bathworld Review

(More customer reviews)Bought this for son's 1st bday. A bit on the pricey side for what you get. I had anticipated ~25% increased size compared to what it is in reality. It's just big enough, though it would've been nicer if it was a bit larger so that we could fit more boats/toys to float/race in it. My larger dissapointment (which is why I didn't give it 5 stars) is because the pieces don't 'snap' into their respective places so it is very easy for my son to take it apart vs. play w/ the intended function of each piece. With that said, my son & daughter both love to play with it.

The toy operates by pressing the robot from the head which activates a motor inside the operator which has a gear system that operates either system. The toy is well constructed and so far is working fine. The toy comes with two size C batteries, you'll need to purchase two more. It uses a total of four.
