Fisher-Price Bubble Mower Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this bubble mower for my three-year-old son. He was so excited that he had me wedge the big box on the floor in front of his seat so he straddled it for the half-hour ride home. Of course, we assembled it the moment we arrived home.
At first, it didn't blow bubbles, it just sputtered them in the wheel with the holes. We tried it many times (took way more than twenty steps - more like two hundred) and I noticed bubbles were trying to form but then they'd pop immediately. I re-read the directions several times. Fisher-Price is a trusted company and I was sure they wouldn't manufacture a toy that really didn't perform. I was getting pretty upset and my son was very disappointed. As a last resort, I took the mower and rinsed the bubble solution out and replaced it with a different brand of bubble solution. I almost didn't do it because I thought there was no way the 'engine' could be clogged - it was brand new!
But it worked. Now my son pushes it only ten steps or so and it starts spitting out groups of bubbles just like the picture on the box. Apparently, it was the original bubble solution that caused the 'malfunction'.
The solution I switched to was the huge 100 ounce Miracle Bubbles from Wal-Mart. But, even with this, you must be careful that the mower doesn't get shaken around a lot because if the bubble solution becomes foamy it will not blow bubbles. It does seem to take normal walking around very well.
I hope this solution works for anyone else who bought this mower. It's really cute and my son loves it.

They are much better than the step 2 swings that came with the swing set. The chains are covered so they don't hurt the kids hands. They won't break like my step 2 swings did. I would highly reccomend these swings to anyone looking to buy a swing for their swing set.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my 15 month old son a month ago, after finding him playing in his clothes hamper several times. (The hamper is made by the same materials and mode as this playland).
It was a lot larger than i expected, it took up half my dining room since it wouldn't fit in the kids bedroom.
Set up took about 15 minutes, but that's only because I couldn't keep the kids to stop crawling through the tunnels while I velcrowed everything together. As soon as the first tent was out of the box and popped open the kids were crawling though and playing with the basket ball and other balls. They loved it.
Since then my older son has gotten over the initial trill and doesn't play in the tents anymore, but my toddler still loves to crawl in there and hide to play with other toys, I think his imagination is expanding and this is the perfect hidding place.
Now we are moving houses and I am taking the tent down... i lost the instructions and I cant figure it out, the e-z twist & fold technology is not very user friendly, I'm sure once it will be set up new home for good I dont want to ever fold this again.

(More customer reviews)This is the most played with toy in our house. The tunnels and cubes give it limitless possibilities. The ball pit is the biggest hit with the kids and with us, also. The "door" to the ball pit zips shut to keep them all in. As with most items that have ball pit balls, there are not enough included but we added a box of 100 balls and it was perfect for the kids. We have children ranging in ages from 10 months to 10 years and they all play with this toy. The older kids enjoy shooting hoops with the balls and chasing the younger ones through the tunnels. The younger children seem to enjoy the ball pit and tunnels the best. Whenever anyone comes over to our house, this is the first toy they go to in the playroom! The best thing about it, though, is that we can easily pop it down for when we need to move it. We recently painted the playroom and it was the easiest thing to move in there. We have had other playhuts in the past and they all last a long time and through many children. Much better than plastic or inflatable models. Well worth the money for the use you will get from it.

(More customer reviews)Works great and my child loves it. He's been in it since around 6mths and is currently 12mths. There's still plenty of room for him to grow. It's designed so infants and toddlers can't unhook the restraining device, which is a good idea.
Depending on what you're mounting to, you may have to be a little creative when mounting the swing. I attached both hooks to a single rope from a high tree branch. This allows a normal swing or spin to mix it up! He likes both.
The swing out of the box is made to attach to two standard eye bolts of a standard swing set, where chain links may be used to lower the swing to the appropriate height.

Although the younger child doesn't really get the games we play with it, the older ones do and we all have a great time. My goal was to get them to be active during the winter (less TV time), and this works for about 30 minutes. I only wish we had a bigger house so I could have gotten the bigger parachute. I can't wait to play with it outside when it gets warm.

He has been walking for about a month and already he was able to climb up to the first platform. When my children were growing up, we always had a Jr. Activity Gym in our family room to give our kids an acceptable place to climb. I was very excited to see the new design and activities on this bus! I have to say, I love the unique design of the bus as it allows for much imaginative play! Each wheel spins, while the bus remains stationary. As the wheel spins, it reveals different things, such as numbers and colors. The key comes partially out so the child can pretend to put it in the ignition and drive the bus! The horn beeps and steering wheel turns! Nothing like singing "The Wheels on the Bus" when you have a bus to sit in! Overall, I love the bus, but due to it's size, it will be heading outside for climbing fun! It's a nice size for two tots!

(More customer reviews)Bought this for son's 1st bday. A bit on the pricey side for what you get. I had anticipated ~25% increased size compared to what it is in reality. It's just big enough, though it would've been nicer if it was a bit larger so that we could fit more boats/toys to float/race in it. My larger dissapointment (which is why I didn't give it 5 stars) is because the pieces don't 'snap' into their respective places so it is very easy for my son to take it apart vs. play w/ the intended function of each piece. With that said, my son & daughter both love to play with it.
