(More customer reviews)I bought this candle making kit a few years ago, after seeing the awesome creations shown on the front of this kit's box... BOY WAS I IN FOR A SURPRISE!
I opened the box to find a few limp sheets of dried-out wax.
I was excited to try my hand at candle making! But, I soon realized I'd really blown it big time, when the sheet of wax cracked in half! Being a hopeful kid, I decided to give it a second try... BUT BEFORE I COULD SUCCESSFULLY CREATE ANYTHING HALF-WAY DECENT all the supplies in that stupid kit had been wasted; lying in a pathetic pile on our countertop.
DON'T BE A KNUCKLEHEAD LIKE ME...

(More customer reviews)I purchased the mini mandala set from the same company with the intention of capturing the artistic interest of my 6 year old. Her 14 year old sister had an easier time using it, which has to do with the design of the mini sets. They are not made for little hands at all... If you are thinking of introducing little ones, under 8 years old to mandalas, try this larger edition! I loved the idea of the girls creating mandalas which they could use to decorate cards, make mobiles etc.... My little one has been making her own mandalas and her fingers are more comfortable in the larger board. This is a great idea that they made a junior edition. I do wish, though that they sold packs of paper for this kit or sold it with more paper. I now have to cut paper to size so that it fits into the design slot. Overall, this is a great busy toy for travel or at home art time.

(More customer reviews)My budding 6 years old artist loved this, and it is not a toy that will be set aside anytime soon. I appreciate how they simpified this mandala for this age group. It is fairly easy to use, fun, and is constructed well. It is fun to watch them create a design and how proud they are when it is completed. On a side note: you may want to purchase additional colored pencils. The set only comes with three colors, and it is fun to have more color choices.

Leaf Rubbing Plates Review

(More customer reviews)I saw these at a festival in Beaver Bend in Oklahoma and just had to have them. They had them mounted on foam board for easier use which was a great idea. These are wonderful to use with any age but especially for younger children when using real leaves is difficult.
