I was so happy to find that the Etch a Sketch is still available. I thought it was a toy of the past. I bought one for my coffee table at home and everyone that comes over plays with it and reminisces. It's a great toy for all ages - especially for creatives.

Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Travel Doodler with Light Review

Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Travel Doodler with Light

Very cute travel toy. My son can't put it down. the light is very bright. The only downside to this is that my son is left handed so he doesn't have much slack with the string that attaches with the pen. It is attached to the upper right corner. he resolved this by turning it upside down so he can get more slack. It's very cute, and a great gift for my three year old.

Make Your Own Puzzles Fun set Blank boards Crafts Kids Color Paint Draw Review

Make Your Own Puzzles Fun set Blank boards Crafts Kids Color Paint Draw
Average Reviews:

Poor Quality. I bought these to use as invitations for my daughter's birthday party. Yeah, they are fun to decorate and color but don't try to take them apart! The puzzle is not cut well at all, the paper covering the cardboard peels and rips and even if you a careful you still end up ripping off a portion of the pieces themselves! I even tried using an Exacto knife but that was tedious and time consuming at 50+ pieces per puzzle! Ended up having to order another brand.

Fisher-Price Fun 2 Learn Preschool Center Review

Fisher-Price Fun 2 Learn Preschool Center
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this for my 2 yr old for Christmas. Like others the clock did not work. However; my son just loves the piano and drums so much that he did not notice the other part not working. I called fisherprice and they sent me a new clock/keyboard free of charge and that one did work. I was very suprised that FP had an item that did not work. There customer service was excellent. I really wish this item came with the stool pictured on the box. I think I finally found which stool that is. It looks like the green MAMMUT Children's stool sold by IKEA. I am going out today to get it since it is hard getting a single chair anywhere. They usually come in pairs. Besides all the problems this item had at first, I would definitely recommend it. I am giving 3 stars since it did not work at first and because it doesn't come with the stool. Otherwise it would have 5 stars.

Crayola 52 Ct Chalk Carton Review

Crayola 52 Ct Chalk Carton
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Overall a nice product because it gives you lots of different colors that other manufacturers don't. The sticks are shrink wrapped inside the box in groups of four which makes it rather time consuming to unpack. The sticks themselves are thinner than other brands which makes them go faster and makes for more breaking in the hands of the little ones.

Crayola Beginnings Color Me A Song Review

Crayola Beginnings Color Me A Song
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Most of my daughters toys are played with a few times and then forgotten, minus stuffed animals :D She mostly just 'reads' books and colors during the day when we aren't outside. When I saw the Color Me A Song, I just knew it would be perfect for her, because she LOVES coloring and music. I'm not sure about the other reviewer getting markers in hers, but the Color Me A Song is supposed to come with several triangular shaped crayons, which are great because they don't roll of the table :D They are easy for her and my 3 year old to hold. I also love the tray that you can keep the crayons in when not in use, so when we take it with us, I don't have to bring the crayon box too. To my surprise, my 3 year old, very active son also loves this toy. It has held up well, esp. since they both use it at the same time and will snatch it from each other, hehe. I couldn't have made a better investment, imo.

Pictionary Jr Review

Pictionary Jr
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
One of the games my son got from his Grandma for Christmas was Pictionary Jr. My husband, myself and our son was on one team, and my brother, his girlfriend, and her son was on the other. We were having so much fun that Grandma begged us to play the next game!
When rolling the die and landing on an All Play square (shown by an image of four pencils), the "Picturist" for one team shows the Picturist from the other team the word that matches the color of the square landed upon. BOTH Picturists draw the word and then it's a race as to who draws the picture the fastest. For Single Play (shown by a single pencil), one team rolls the die and sketches until someone on the team does NOT guess the picture.
This game comes with a white side with easier words (for smaller children), while the blue side has more challenging words. For example, the white side of one card may have Bell, Baby, Box, Button and Branch (Starts with "B"), while the blue side will have Team, Goal Post, High Five, Quarterback and Cheerleader (Football Game). Of course, which word is actually drawn depends on which colored square that is landed on.
There are two game pieces and a sand timer. The game comes with two small pencils and a pad of paper, but get this: the pencils aren't even sharpened! They're just pieces of unsharpened wood. Sheesh...they don't make 'em like they used to!
If you like drawing games, Pictionary Jr. is a fun option for the whole family--even for children who can't yet read (they can always guess what the pictures are!). Unfortunately, there needs to be at least 3 players for this game. In the case of 3 players, one person serves as the permanent Picturist for both teams.

Sixty seconds! That's all the time you've got to draw a raccoon, pizza, or bowling ball. Pictionary Junior is the fun-filled game where clues are sketched and teammates have to quickly guess the word. And it's designed especially for kids ages 7 to 12! Each card also has a theme that gives a hint to the word being sketched. You don't have to be an artist to play - all you need is a little imagination and a fast pencil! For 3 or more players. Game includes: game board, die, timer, 144 cards (1,440 words), 2 pencils, 2 playing pieces, pad of paper and instructions.

Ravensburger Junior Mandala-Designer - Classic Review

Ravensburger Junior Mandala-Designer - Classic
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased the mini mandala set from the same company with the intention of capturing the artistic interest of my 6 year old. Her 14 year old sister had an easier time using it, which has to do with the design of the mini sets. They are not made for little hands at all... If you are thinking of introducing little ones, under 8 years old to mandalas, try this larger edition! I loved the idea of the girls creating mandalas which they could use to decorate cards, make mobiles etc.... My little one has been making her own mandalas and her fingers are more comfortable in the larger board. This is a great idea that they made a junior edition. I do wish, though that they sold packs of paper for this kit or sold it with more paper. I now have to cut paper to size so that it fits into the design slot. Overall, this is a great busy toy for travel or at home art time.

Ravensburger Junior Mandala-Designer - Romantic Review

Ravensburger Junior Mandala-Designer - Romantic
Average Reviews:

My budding 6 years old artist loved this, and it is not a toy that will be set aside anytime soon. I appreciate how they simpified this mandala for this age group. It is fairly easy to use, fun, and is constructed well. It is fun to watch them create a design and how proud they are when it is completed. On a side note: you may want to purchase additional colored pencils. The set only comes with three colors, and it is fun to have more color choices.

Color Mess Free Color Wonder Activity Set- Marvel Super Hero Squad

we have this set in the tangled version. it is great! mess free & keeps them buys for hours. i do suggest tearing pages out for painting & hanging them up as soon as the kids a re finished painting them. the paint tends to stay tacky for a while. we have 4 pages that are now one because she just flipped the page when she was done & moved on to the next page. this is not really a problem just a little aggravating if they are making pictures for a family member. i recommend this product to everyone!

These crayons are made out of wax and they smell natural. Very high quality. Since I did art from small age, I can really appreciate them. Colors are so beautiful--very vibrant. I would highly recommend this product. These will last for some time, so price is not that high for quality product.
