Sprig Dino Adventure Rig Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I love this toy, but thought the toy was made in Mexico and not China. Apparently, they moved the manufacturing plant before eventually discontinuing the product. I own several other Sprig Toys and feel the quality of the ones made in Mexico or Canada is much better . . . they have a different feel than the ones made in China and smell MUCH more like wood . . . its like they changed the formulation for the "sprigwood".

Ecotronics Eco Mic Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)If I had known, if anywhere it had been written, that this toy will relentlessly play "Pop Goes the Weasel" when the blue button is pushed, and that once it starts it won't stop until it's through, I would not have purchased it. It's a shame because otherwise it's a great toy - no batteries ever needed (unfortunate only because of the "Pop Goes the Weasel" feature), very sturdy, the amplifying aspect of the microphone is fine. I appreciate the minimal packaging and somewhat ecologically sound approach. I hate being held hostage by that annoying tune.
I am updating this review to report that the toy has broken after two months of normal use. So much for "eco" - now it is a hunk of plastic headed for the landfill. I have tried to adjust the "star rating" for "durability" to one star, although it doesn't seem to reflect my changes when published. Avoid.

Ecotronic Toys are planet friendly techno fun. Did you know there are billions of batteries sold in the US every year many of them for toys but only about 1% of them are recycled? The rest end up in our landfills and are poisoning our planet. The world's resources are diminishing quickly and we can't afford this kind of waste, financially or ecologically. But you know what? Energy doesn't have to cost anything. Ecotronic Toys bring electronic lights and sound to toys without the need to use traditional batteries. How's that work? Part of the fun of Ecotronic toys is actually bringing them to life. Give it a shake or wind it up. The energy used to perform these simple motions gets converted to electrical energy by dynamo technology. This is then used to power the toy. The best part about Ecotronic Toys - they never run out of juice.

Green Toys Tea Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have been on a mission to find the best tea set for my daughter. Well, this it! Fantastic quality, it is made from recycled milk jugs, the plastic is nice and thick. A bonus is that it meets FDA regulations so you can actually drink from the set without worrying about absorbing some crazy chemicals. The lids on the teapot and sugar jar are great because they are interchangeable, they stay on when you pour the tea, and yet they are easy for little hands to take off and put on. The packaging is also nice, it is three pieces of recycled cardboard, and one rubber band holding the spoons together. So easy to open! No tape or twist ties! And we can recycle the cardboard, and the rubber band is biodegradable. Wonderful! Oh, and the best part? MADE IN THE USA!!! My daughter absolutly loves this tea set, and has been playing with it like crazy. WAAAYY better than the annoying musical tea set out there, she didn't even want to play with that one.

Sprig Sand Truck Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)the kids are still playing with this toy from the 2011 Christmas gift I gave them. They love how it comes apart and transforms. Great use of re-cycled material. It is played with in the sand box, out on the patio, is rained on, is out in the ice during our short winter, is washed off and is played with in the house. still works.

Ecotronics Eco Rocket Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My three year old wanted a "super rocket" from Santa. Santa didn't really know what a "super rocket" was but this rocket was a hit on Christmas morning. He loves the real life sound of a rocket taking off and the real countdown before liftoff. My son walks around counting backwards from ten now. This toy is a great buy for the money and it doesn't even need batteries.

Kid Go Car - Aqua Blue Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I don't know if I got a lemon, but the wheels were so stiff that the toy doesn't really roll (even with some serious pushing) so it just doesn't work as a car. Paper weight, maybe. But, since I live indoors and don't have a problem with wind blowing papers around, I returned it.
(It's so cute, though, I might try ordering it again in the hopes that the next one will actually work as a car.)
