Fisher Price Little People - Busy Day Home Review

Fisher Price Little People - Busy Day Home

Bought this for daughter who does love it. But there are design issues I'd have thought would have been worked out by now. I was growing up in the 80's and Fisher Price had much nicer play houses then that were larger and had more rooms to them. This one is much differently designed, smaller, less rooms. It has sound effects to it which could be nice: phone rings, doorbell, toilet flushes. But the toilet only flushes if you RAISE the lid ????? and should flush when you lower the lid. The front door NEVER stays on. You don't even have to mess with it much like open it, you touch it and it just falls off the hinges because they didn't make them well. Overall daughter loves it (nothing to compare to) but as a parent I'm disappointed.

So much to do and so many sounds to hear in the Busy Day Home! Brrring -- Mom's in the kitchen talking on the phone. Ding-dong -- Dad's about to answer the front door. And baby's outside playing with doggie and kitty. Kids make all the action happen, with a fridge door that opens and closes, a potty that flushes and lots more. Includes three cute, chunky figures (mom, dad and baby), bed, table and two chairs.Requires 2 "AA" batteries, not included. Measures approximately 15.5" x 7.87" x 16".

Fisher-Price Elmo's Tickle Hands Review

Fisher-Price Elmo's Tickle Hands
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My little one HAD to have tickle hands for her 3rd birthday. She seems to like them well enough but as with many toys I don't see this one having much staying power. It comes with a dvd that has Elmo singing his little song and a dance to go with the tickle hands but she loves going tickle everyone in the room with them. One hand is just cloth while the other has the box in it where the music comes from. Don't get accidently hit with the one with the music box in it...it'll hurt. Also the dog might not be so happy with the tickle hands (same goes for the cat). So if your child has heavy hands...I'd look for a different toy.

Put Elmo's Tickle Power in your child's hands! These big, furry, red Elmo hands (featuring Elmo's friendly face on one side) allow your kids to tickle & dance just like Elmo does! The gloves easily slide on to little hands and when Elmo's nose is pressed, the fun begins! When your child touches a surface to tickle, the hands start to vibrate & move allowing your child to feel like he can tickle just like Elmo! But that's not all! Touch Elmo's nose again and it's time to dance! Elmo will give instructions on how to do his brand new dance called, "The Tickle Hand Groove!" This new dance encourages kids to get moving & grooving! The hands also come with an instructional DVD that teaches kids how to do the new dance step by step! The DVD features Elmo and his mystery friend! Your child will be tickling, wiggling and giggling in no time at all! What's in the box: *2 red, furry gloves (one with Tickle Power & 2 "AA" batteries) *1 instructional DVD (featuring Elmo & his brand new dance, "The Tickle Hand Groove") Tons of tickles & giggles!

Fisher-Price Hokey Pokey Elmo Review

Fisher-Price Hokey Pokey Elmo
Average Reviews:

Our 24-mo son really enjoys Hokey Pokey Elmo. Within minutes, he was trying to do the Hokey Pokey (have the camera or videocam handy) and the dog was doing some strange dance around the two of them. Unfortunately, Hokey Pokey Elmo doesn't stand up well to curious toddlers and 7-yr olds. If you have kids in the family who like to bend things to see how they work, then either 1. don't buy this toy, or 2. be prepared to buy another Elmo after the first one breaks. I was surprised at just how fragile Elmo's internal pieces are. The exterior material held up well and Elmo still sings, but after having his leg bent once and arm bent once, his Hokey Pokey days are over. We're choosing option two (buy another).

We own all four of the Let's Pretend cooking items. My kids love to play with them. They fill them with water and ice cubes and "cook" away on the counter with a kitchen towel to catch the overflow. Definitely recommend for toddlers.
