Mega Bloks Ni Hao Kai-Lan's Buildable Bedroom Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter's been getting more into building things and pretending lately, and when I saw Kai-Lan's Buildable Bedroom for an incredibly low price on clearance, it was an obvious buy. For parents who are worried about their kids eating the smaller Lego pieces, or just plain losing them because of their size, this is a good option. And of course, if they like Kai-Lan too, it's even better.
What you see on the box is exactly what you're getting- there aren't any extra pieces included, which is kind of a downer, but because you can put the bedroom together in different ways, it's sure to extend the toy's life a bit. You get pieces to make the actual room, part of the roof, and a little outdoor area with a fence/gate. And of course you get Tolee, Kai-Lan and Hoho. These characters are a good size and look great for being 'just' kid's toys. They have a hole in their feet so they can fit onto the other pieces, and you can move their heads as well. Their heads are on tight, so there's very little chance of them popping off and being a choking hazard.
There aren't any stickers to put on the bedroom walls or anything- they're already on their respective pieces. Basically, you just get the blocks and figures. Everything's colorful and cute, and my daughter loved putting things together with me, and making super flowers (flowers stacked on top of eachother to make one big one). If you have the other Kai-Lan building sets, this is an excellent addition.
Good construction, learning potential, great quality on the figures, and it's Legos for kids. This would be a great present for any fan of Kai-Lan. Now why can't the Backyardigans or Wubbzy get toys like this?

(More customer reviews)When my 2 yo was asked what he wanted Santa to bring, he ONLY asked for a "play-Doh stick ball" after falling in love with the pack his 5 yo brother received on his birthday a month earlier. He naturally received these xmas morning and proceeded to open the whole pack and roll them together into one giant ball. He's carried it around in a little xmas box for a full month now and has since turned 3. Silliest thing ever, but whatever makes him happy:)

(More customer reviews)I purchased this item for my soon-to-be 3 yr. old grandson, who loves Diego. The online description is not very complete as to exactly what this toy does, however the box states "16 animal rescues" on the front and back of the box. There are four animals on the screen and there are sound effects for each of these; however there is no way to access more than these four. I would say it is deceptive, to say the least. I plan to call FP tomorrow to see what they say. I probably will be returning it though because as cute as it appears, even my almost 3 yr. old would get bored pretty quickly with the repitition of the four animals.
