(More customer reviews)We received this game as a gift and discovered that this version of Memory is different from the original in one very important and disappointing way. While there are as many cards as the original version, the vast majority of the cards look the same: pink, purple, and pale blue ponies with slight variations in the colors of the manes. There are a few other objects, such as ladybugs, flowers, and butterflies, but there are also near-duplicates of each of those. For example, there is one ladybug pair with a bit of pink gingham background, and then another pair with the same ladybug and a pale green gingham background. Overall, the amount of similarity between the cards makes this an extremely difficult and tiresome game for all but the most devoted (and knowledgable) fans of My Little Pony. This version tips the balance between game and marketing gimmick, and the game loses out to an advertising ploy directed at toddlers and preschoolers. I'd highly recommend the original version instead.

The ladies of Ponyville are ready to play a little hide and seek! Minty, Moondancer, Sunny Daze, Cotton Candy and all the rest of the ponies each appear on two cards. Lay the cards face down and turn them over one at a time to try to make a pair. Game comes with 72 picture cards, plastic storage tray and instructions in English and Spanish. For 1 or more players.
