(More customer reviews)My son received this for his second birthday and I originally chalked it up as just another race track. But it is different, and my son has played with it nearly every day for the last year. The track comes in little pieces and so is extremely flexible. Easy to design in different shapes. By 2.5 he was able to put the pieces together himself. I wish they showed pictures of the cars because I don't know if they are the same ones that my son has. They are soft instead of hard and oversized for little hands. He plays with them on and off the track. For extra fun, roll some of the track into a little wheel and put the car into it like a hampster. He loves to do that!

He has very few toys that he likes as much as his matchbox cars, but even the matchbox cars run around and around the track, which makes him giggle! It seems sturdy so far and has a handle for easy carrying. The 2 included cars store inside the toy, which is nice. The figure 8 spinning turns on by a large red button and lasts about 30 seconds, so it's easy for him to operate without help. He's also figured out how to *bop* the car to start it down the track. It is a little loud, but it has an on/off button and you can probably tape over the speaker to quiet it a little. Overall, it's a big hit in our house!

Fisher-Price Lil Zoomers Tug and Rumble Tow Truck Review

(More customer reviews)My son just moved to a convertible car seat which doesn't have the bar to hang toys off of, and one of his favorite toys used to be a little bird you pulled down and it "rumbled" back up. I bought this thinking he's love it just as much. BUT, it is so small that it fits in my hand, is hard to pull back and doesn't hold my sons attention as well as a plain ball that does nothing can. I wish I had kept the box so I could send it back. For his first car toy this is very disappointing!

Mindscope Neo Tracks Flexible Assembly Review

It seemed great at first, but very quickly -within the first hour of use - the cars died and could not be revived with new batteries. What a waste of money. After reading reviews on Amazon, I know that many people have had this issue with the iPlay sets.
Luckily the store was willing to exchange this useless toy with another product and we chose the Mindscope NEO TRACKS set. It looked "amazing" upon opening and continues to be amazing to my son today. We have had endless hours of fun with the cars and never had an issue with battery life. The flexible track is very cool and can be configured in many fun ways with bridges, tunnels, etc. It comes with one car but additional cars are sold separately for more racing fun.

Tonka Wheel Pals Triple Track Tower Review

(More customer reviews)My 2 year old hasn't stopped playing with this toy since we took it out of the box. He absolutely loves putting the cars on the starting blocks and pushing the button to watch them go down the hills.
The cars seem very durable. They are a softer plastic (but not too squishy) and have nice big wheels. They're a perfect size for 2 year old hands to hold onto and push around.
You can turn the sound off, which is a nice feature a lot of toys seem to forget to add these days. The tracks also seem durable. They are "connected" at the top and the bottom of the ramps so we have not had any ramps coming loose and frustrating my son.
Overall, a very simple toy but it has bright cheery colors and it's very toddler friendly. Even my 4 and 8 year olds are trying to take it over to play it and have races. I think it's a sure hit for any child and it has a very attractive price.

Darda Create - A - Course Building System Review

(More customer reviews)I've been buying Hot Wheels race tracks and cars for a long time and noticed they have been lowering the quality a lot. But then I found Darda race tracks. This race track is simply the best race track I've seen and used in the past 30 years!
Has a lot of parts so the kids can build a lot of different tracks. Really easy to build. And the cars have a wind up motor so good that the tracks can have a lot of loops and the cars can manage them all. The cars almost never leave the track, which happens a lot with Hot Wheels.
Absolutely recommended! Kids love it!

(More customer reviews)My son got this as a gift and he LOVES it. He never seems to tire of racing the cars round and round. He even likes to try push the cars up the ramps. In our experience it worked with almost all of our Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. There were only a few that were either too long to make it around the curves or two wide to go down, but the majority worked just fine. Some cars go faster than others, which makes the racing more fun. The only annoying thing is that the track makes race car noises and says things like "Speed, I am speed" and "You're one gutsy race car". However, you can turn the sound off or just remove the batteries if the sounds make you nuts.
Edited to add: I wanted to add that it works with most Matchbox style cars, but most of the actual Disney cars from the movie Cars do not work. They are mostly too wide for the track.

This is a great toy for kids who want a flashlight of their own, and we have found it to stand up to the abuse a toddler can put it through.

Darda Upside Down Overpass Review

(More customer reviews)Darda is a huge hit with my four year old daughter! She loves her track, even though she has little to no interest in assembling it. Once assembled, though, the track is fairly sturdy and easy to keep set up for several days. We put it in our dining room and a few times each day would sit down and run our cars on it for awhile.
A month after Christmas, it's been moved to a bedroom where visiting children flock to play with it. We have three cars total so there are enough for a few to play at a time.
Some 3 year olds don't have enough manual dexterity to move the cars fast and long enough to wind them. They also seem to not understand that starting the car on the straight, level part is most effective. I've had to demonstrate that to a few little boys, but my daughter caught on right away. I'd probably not suggest this toy for someone under age 4.
