Green Plasmacar Review

Green Plasmacar
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought a plasma car for each of my boys, (ages 6 and 4). They enjoyed them for about an hour. I really thought they would be easier to propel than they are. If you are on any bit of incline it is almost impossible to make the car go without using your feet on the ground. It is fun to find a small hill and coast down, but coming back up is a pain. I have even tried to find really flat pavement and still you are at times practically not moving.

PlasmaCar is made from state-of-the-art, high-quality ABS plastics, rugged and durable. Kids will like its looks because it′s vivid, sleek and aerodynamic, just like a racecar. No batteries, no power-cells, no liquid fuel are required. It's deceptively simple too, both to look at and to operate. It sports six wheels, a seat, footrests, and a steering wheel. That's it. There are no pedals. No gears. And best of all-batteries are not required. To propel the PlasmaCar, you rotate the steering wheel continuously from left to right. It also works in reverse. To zoom backwards, just switch the set of four front wheels around so that the larger ones are closest to the front of the car. To stop your PlasmaCar, just cease rotating the steering wheel and, when the car slows, put your feet on the ground to bring it to a full stop-easy as pie. Think of it as a Segway for kids. The PlasmaCar can go an exhilarating but kid-safe 2.8 meters per second; that's over 10 km/h. Kids feel the need for speed-and this toy will give them exactly what they need!

Power Wheels Hot Wheels Volkswagon Beetle Review

Power Wheels Hot Wheels Volkswagon Beetle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We purchased this vehicle for our 2-year-old. It is perfect for him as it is not too big and not too small. He is able to see well (like the child pictured on the photo) and that helped him learn how to steer as well. It is only 6-volts so it is not too fast either. Great starter for the world of boy/man toys to come :)

Sesame Fly with Elmo Ride-On Review

Sesame Fly with Elmo Ride-On
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My son is 9 months old, and he is in love with his Fly With Elmo Ride On! He needs help to actually ride the toy since he is not quite big enough to get on it and push himself, but he scoots it and plays with it by himself all over the living room. It has lots of buttons to push, sounds and music, and the propeller lights up as it spins. The wings also have propellers that he can turn to make a ratcheting noise. Under the seat is a storage compartment that he loves to hide blocks and such in. Each side has a little window that he can open or close to reveal different characters. The Elmo on the front of it moves and talks. We have only had this toy for a few weeks, and I swear that the baby is going to wear out the batteries from playing with it constantly! As I have mentioned, he needs supervision with it. This is in part because of his small stature. The plastic wheels are slippery on our laminate flooring though, and the airplane has the potential to tip over if you have an especially rough child. As with any toy, supervision is recommended. My baby has enjoyed this toy, so its money well spent.

The fun really takes off for preschoolers when they climb on this Elmo-themed ride-on. Slide right into the pilot's seat, and Elmo is waiting as your co-pilot. Turn the propellers on the wings for a cool ratcheting sound. Push the propeller button or the green buttons on the steering wheel to watch the propeller spin around and light up. The plane's eyes move and its entire body lights up as well! On the steering wheel, slide Elmo in his airplane to hear fun phrases, or turn the gearshift or the key for more sound effects. Requires 3 "AA" batteries, included. Measures 24"L x 19"W x 13"H. Holds up to 65 pounds. Assembly required. Adult supervision recommended.

Step2 Motorcycle Review

Step2 Motorcycle

Our dare devils LOVE their motorcycles!! We ordered two, one for our 2 yr old and one for our 3 yr old. They both have a blast racing up and down our driveway. This toy flies, and goes much faster downhill than any toy we have had. We have not had an issue with stability as stated in other reviews. It is important to consider toys for children, not always by age, but individual development. Great toy, thanks step 2!!

g-bike + by micro Review

We bought this toy as a Christmas present for my nearly 2 year old after watching the youtube videos. She was still too small to use it. So, my 4-year old son took over the bike and rode it all winter long throughout our house (which is not big). By summer time, he was so used to riding and balancing, that we took the training wheels off his big bike, and off he went -- no training wheels. It was amazing! The g-bike taught him how to balance -- getting it for Christmas was perfect because all winter he rode indoors for fun. And by summer time, he was ready to go. I cannot say enough great things about this bike. He is now five and still rides around the house when the weather is bad outside (but it admittedly he seems to be outgrowing it size-wise now). All the moms in the neighborhood are like "can I borrow the g-bike so my son can learn to ride without training wheels?" Best Christmas present ever -- we didn't realize at the time that we were buying it for the wrong child!

Playskool Musical Sit N Spin (colors may vary) Review

Playskool Musical Sit N Spin (colors may vary)

The music is obnoxiously loud and with no volume control or off button I was worried about my son's hearing. So I tried to put duct tape over the speaker which had little results, so I ended up disconnecting the speaker. Don't waste the extra money on the sound feature buy the classic.

Spin Around Review

Spin Around

This is the same kind of basic sit-n-spin we grew up with in the 70s. There are no bells or whistles as in the interactive ones. No TV character marketing. For our kids this is just fine and just as fun. The spin how and when they want. Our children were able to use this as young as 16 mo.
