(More customer reviews)I read the bad reviews, but could not find an alternate option for storing these beautiful but unstackable puzzles. I decided to email Melissa and Doug with a list of my puzzles and asked them if they would fit. M&D got back to me promptly, and assured me the puzzles would fit. I directed them to the bad reviews and asked if they were sure that the rack would work for me and they reiterated that it would. I decided to order it, and am pleasantly surprised to say that all my puzzles fit , beautifully - chunky, peg, big knob, and even some non M&D ones. Everyone including my husband is really complimentary of the rack and how it solved a storage issue. I highly recommend it and am glad I gave it a chance.

(More customer reviews)We own both of the Melissa and Doug block puzzles and love them. This product is cardboard, compared to M&D's wooden blocks. The quality, art, box, etc. everything is inferior. Comes in a flimsy cardboard box and for the price, I'm very disappointed.

(More customer reviews)I got this toy for my daughter for her first birthday. It is adorable - I love wooden puzzles. However, it is far too difficult for a child that young to put this puzzle together. The pieces have too many curves and angles sticking out. My daughter loved taking the pets out and carrying them around with her, but she wasn't able to put them back in until she was about 19 months old, whereas, she was able to do other puzzles with simpler shapes at 13 months. So, if you are looking to buy for an older toddler, this might be a good choice...if it wasn't only a 3-piece puzzle. My daughter is 2 now, and she never chooses this puzzle, there aren't enough pieces to keep her interested. The puzzle looks great, but it fails to entertain the age group it was aimed at. One-year olds can't do it, and two-year olds don't want to!

Melissa & Doug Train Sound Puzzle Review

However... it's really annoying. The train sound goes off ALL the time, not just when the last piece is inserted.
I put the toy away on a shelf and everytime someone walks past, jostling it ever so slightly, it Choo-Choos.
Also, every time I open or shut the door to the room, it Choo-Choos.
Also, every time I turn on or off the overhead light in the room (oddly enough), it Choo-Choos.
And this is after seperating the pieces from the board by putting them in seperate bags in seperate rooms.
But like I said, the kids love it... and my fiance has a good sense of humor about it always going off when nobody's playing with it. He thinks it's funny. I'm wondering how long it'll take the batteries to die.

Melissa & Doug Farm Cube Puzzle Review

(More customer reviews)I just purchased this cube puzzle for my soon to be two year old daughter. I was so very excited to introduce my little one to one of my favorite types of puzzles as a little girl. I was even more eager because she seems to love puzzles as much as I did. As soon as we got home from the store we ran to open the package and play with it together. She abosolutely loved them! I was very happy for all of two minutes when I realized the stickers were peeling on almost half of the puzzle cubes. I don't understand how the Melissa & Doug Comapany let this product out to the public. It is terribly contructed. I am sending these back immediately and will be searching for a similar replacement of better quality. I was genuinely surprised at the disappointment from a company that usually provides high quality learning toys. I definitely suggest you pass on this toy...
