(More customer reviews)I love this toy and, more importantly, my kids love it! I noticed in other reviews some complained about the new design and the fuzzy animals but I bought and received the original Noah's Ark, not the Touch and Feel version. Thank goodness! These are easy to clean and I appreciate that this toy does not make noise or light up. My only real complaint is not with the toy but with the product listing here on Amazon. The product features section does not specifically list what is included and the item picture is not in its package. Add in the reviews that seem to be talking about a different product (the Touch and Feel version) and I just wasn't sure what all came with this. I finally had to go to the Fisher-Price website to verify that this item includes the ark, Noah, 2 giraffes, 2 lions, 2 elephants and 2 zebras.

Melissa and Doug Giraffe Grasping Toy Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this giraffe for my 6 month old daughter and she loved to manipulate and play with it! When she began teething, she chewed on the nose of the giraffe and it "splintered". I was a bit concerned that she could swallow tiny bits of wood, so we have retired this toy for now until the teething stops.

(More customer reviews)These are so cute. I got yellow, purple, and pink. They all sing different songs so keep that in mind when selecting the item. There are three settings on each so if your child can not carry the tune for the song well it still is a great toy. The mouth moves with each note, but it is not a pinch hazard. I love it.

LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game Scholastic Animal Genius Review

(More customer reviews)my 4yr old son loves 'go diego go' (about an 'animal scientist' who lives in the rainforest), but all the related games have seemed disappointingly cheesey ~ this one, though, makes him feel like he =is= diego!
this sort of game is why i bought the leapster in the first place! the graphics are amazing ~ rather realistic & not cartoony. you start off picking a habitat (woodlands, rainforest, ocean, grasslands, or artic) & then have to 'win' 5 animals to fill it up by playing the 4 different games (maze munch - negotiate a maze to get food for your animal; feature finder - classify & sort animals by physical features; matchomatic - match the animal with it's feature (eyes, skin, food, etc); scratch & see - figure out which animal is hiding by scratching off as little of it's cover as possible) after you've gotten enough points, you take a quiz on that particular animal & then get to see it in it's habitat. also, "animal alert" happens periodically where an animal is in the wrong habitat & you have to find it. i wish there was more consistency in the animals (i.e. games for grassland animals focussed on animals that actually live in the grasslands) & maybe a bit more flexible formula but all in all a =great= game that's very educational & not patronizing. also, excellant integration of using both the stylus & arrow keys. like all leapster titles there are different levels of play.
~*~without a doubt our absolute favorite title thus far & i really hope they make more like these!~*~

It plays a cute song when you push it, and one of the pieces has a spinning stand for one of the toys to go on, which adds an element of fun. The two train cars come apart but are easy enough for a young child to re-connect. The tiger and bear that come with the train are also very cute.
