Erector Build and Play - Construction Bucket 150 Pieces Review

My 6 yr old LOVES this. He is very much into building things with blocks, legos, boxes and whatever he can. The best thing is that he can make ANYTHING, not just one thing. Dad does help him with putting it together, but it is a great activity for BOTH of them. I'm sure in time, my son won't need any help. The plastic materials are safe and sturdy. Very quality product! Very happy customers here!

Giant Building Block 40-piece Set Review

Giant Building Block 40-piece Set
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These are great, durable, fun cardboard blocks for your kids to build structures they can play in (for example, mine like to build walls under tables to make a fort or "rabbit hole" while they pretend they are rabbits, or they build towers around each other which they then love to crash down on their heads.) I like them because they are a nice physical toy that encourages the imagination. They are strong enough for kids to stand on (although I don't encourage it because they will weaken over time) and light enough that they aren't hurt if the blocks fall on them. And kids learn some spatial, balance, and construction concepts as well. Warning: assembly required, and you should take care when assembling to make sure you get them right (don't bend the cardboard in the wrong place or you will weaken them). Also, the best blocks are the larger red ones. The yellow ones are much harder to build with (no stability for height) and the blue (brick-sized) ones are nearly useless. I'm buying more of the red only, and I expect I will actually throw out the blue and yellow ones since they take up storage room but are pretty much useless. These blocks are expensive if you are going to buy enough of them. I recommend that your kids will need at least 30 red ones to really build things that they can play in (even building in an open-space brick-saving fashion)... and that gets costly. They can be stacked awayin a 2x3x4 area... it's helpful to cordon off a section of your room or have a big storage box that helps your kids figure out how to put them away. 5 stars for fun and child development, but I only gave 4 stars due to the expense and useless smaller blocks included.

Battat Take A Part Roadster Review

Battat Take A Part Roadster

Got the car after my 3 year old loved the plane! The car is designed much better than the plan (on the plane, you have to put two or three parts together with one screw in the beginning which is very difficult) I love that it even came with an extra tire in case one gets lost (what are the chances of that?) The only complaint I have is that the windshield is designed poorly, there is not a complete hole where the screw goes, it's sort of C shaped and has to be tightened down all the way or it fall right of and is very frustrating.

Battat Take Apart Airplane Review

Battat Take Apart Airplane
Average Reviews:

We have had the Take-A-Part Airplane (and Take-A-Part Crane Truck) for over 4 years. They are both very durable and fun for kids of many ages. My oldest son got them when he was 3 years old. He loved to take them apart and put them together (with help) and he played with them alot once they were together. At 7, he can put them together himself and he still plays with them on occasion.
My younger son started playing with them when he was two. He does the same thing...loves to take them apart and put them back together with help. He also plays with them alot once they are together, even to the point of throwing the plane through the air, so it could fly. :-) After his first attempt, we didn't let him do that, but it didn't hurt the toy at all. It is very strong and durable.
I highly recommend these toys because they are very durable and extremely entertaining. In addition, each of them come in their own durable plastic boxes which contain all the parts when they are not being played with. After 4 years and an across country move, we did lose two small parts. I called the manufacturer and they sent me the two parts free of charge. You can't ask for better service.

Battat Take Apart Crane Review

Battat Take Apart Crane

Truly a creative toy that allows the child to "think" and follow a path of
logic. Well made, durable and colorful. Not only is it a toy of "mechanics" that
teaches hand-mind skills but, it also a great 3-D puzzle that can change
and be put together in various sequences. The Bi-plane version of this
toy is also fantastic. Our grandkids loved it.... hours on end, day after day.
Not a "play once" and toss away toy.

My child loves this toy. We ended up not using the included ramp since it easily fell off when we rolled the bus on our carpet. My child does not miss the ramp and loves taking the people on and off the bus and carrying them all over the house.

Battat Take Apart 4X4 Review

I am very pleased with this product. My 3 year old son loves building his truck and taking it apart with the power drill. He was showed one time how to do it and took off with it on his own from there. He continues play with the drill through out the house. I was impressed with the durability of the truck parts and drill. Not flimsy at all. And the size is decent too. The parts are big enough to find if dumped into the toy box.
