(More customer reviews)Cute costume and will serve its purpose for Halloween, but it has been way more trouble than it's worth. My daughter wears a size 3T, so I originally ordered the toddler size. It wouldn't even go over her torso. I ended up returning it and ordering the child's small which said it would fit size 6-8, and it fit great...except for the elastic in the sleeves which would even be too tight for my one-year-old's arm. My daughter is petite, so this is never an issue. I removed the elastic, turned up the sleeve, restitched, and put in an appropriate sized piece of elastic.

DC Comics Boys Trio Action Set Dress Up Trunk Review

(More customer reviews)My 3 yr old son LOVES this set. He and his sister dress up like Batman and Robin everyday. He doesn't use the shin guards though and they are just taking up space in his trunk. The fabric is a little cheap and I am afraid to wash it for fear that the design will disappear, but he is getting great use out of it and it is a lot of fun. The capes are a little long and I worried at first that they would get caught or pulled, but they haven't yet so it hasn't been an issue for us.
I would recommend this set to any little boy or girl who loves to dress up and loves superheroes.

(More customer reviews)My 8-year-old received this last year for Christmas, and yes, it was recommended for 4-5 year olds, but what do they know about really teaching school??? The set up is not a pre-school one, but an elementary school with report cards, attendance lists, etc. This is the one play item that my daughter and her friends always seek out when they come to my house. It is very well done. Would recommend for any child that likes to play school!

Disney Princess Dress Up Trunk Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my granddaughter's third birthday and had it shipped to their house as I was traveling to see them.
The box was dented on one corner and the trunk inside was in worse shape than the box and had to be taped back together before it could be used. I knew the trunk was cardboard, but a toy for a child this age should be a little sturdier. The clothes and the accessories inside the box were fine and my granddaughter loved them.
Size: She is big for her age and wears a size 4T-5T and the Princess outfits fit her.
Independent play: The tops open all the way down the back and fasten with hook and loop so she can slip them on, but she can't fasten the hook and loop behind her. The skirts are simple elastic waist pull ons and she can change those to heart's desire without help. The little earrings and necklaces also require help, but she really liked them. The shoes seemed very big in relation to the clothing, but she had no trouble walking around in them.
Fun Factor: Five stars! She loved it and played Princess the whole week I was there. She put her other dress up clothes in the trunk and carried them all over the house. Unfortunately, I don't know if the trunk will be able to stand up to that for very long.
Value: Despite my misgivings about the trunk, I think this was well worth the $40+ that I paid for it. The trunk contains three tops and skirts, plus earrings, hair ribbons, tiara, necklaces and shoes.
I would recommend it to a friend.

Wizard of Oz Child's Deluxe Sequin Dorothy Costume, Toddler Review

(More customer reviews)I was hesitant to order this online bc I couldn't see it, but after reading the measurements (39" tall & 22" waist) and that it fits 2-4 yrs old, and after looking at the product picture and a reviewers picture, I decided it would be a safe bet. When I pulled it out of the box, I could not believe how small it was. I double checked the tag and it's confusing bc it says "2-4T" but underneath it says "for ages 1-2". It was ordered for my daughter's 3rd birthday party for her wizard of oz theme, it thankfully JUST fits but is extremely short. She is about 37 - 38 inches so there is no way it would fit up to a 39" girl. The quality is ok and she loves it, but the sizing is confusing. I don't know if I would've been better ordering the next size up, but the girl in the picture for that looks much older than my daughter.

I purchased this little smock along with a doctors kit for my 2 year old grand daughter.
She really loves wearing it when she plays doctor with her dolls. It sort of
completes the idea of pretending to be a doctor. I would recommend it to any

Super Hero Cape Review

(More customer reviews)My son loves his cape! He's 3 & 1/2. I got him the red one & one in blue. He seems to prefer the blue one & has me wear the red one & we pretend to fly around together. I liked this one because it had a velcro closing on the neck. For safety reasons I wanted velcro because it'll open up & come off if the cape catches on something or some kid tries to pull it off him. I didn't want to get a cape that tied. I thought that would be a choking hazard. There are so many things a parent has to think of in the area of safety. As it is, I had to tell him that the cape would not really allow him to fly that it was only pretend flying. I think at first he was a little disappointed at the thought that he couldn't "really" fly but he still loves it & pretend flies all over the house & even wears it to daycare.

Toddler White Lil' Chef Baker Role Play Costume Apron & Hat Set Review

(More customer reviews)A friend of mine had suggested that I get my 2-year-old interested in cooking at an early age. So I bought this simple white apron & chef's hat for my toddler so she can wear it when she is playing with her toy kitchen. It is a little long at the neck but I just fixed it by tying the top in a knot to make it shorter for her. You can't beat the price! $6.99 was perfect for what I was trying to achieve with my daughter. It really helps get the little ones to understand that when you wear it, it means you're cooking. So now, when I cook or bake, I try to wear my own apron so she can see me with mine. And although my daughter is only 2, I am slowly trying to find ways for her to use her apron in the real kitchen. Once I was shucking corn so I had her take the husks & put it in the trash (all while wearing her apron). Such a simple task but she loved it. And after we were done, she cried because she wanted to "cook." I'm so happy with this purchase. Maybe I'll buy another one as a gift for her cousins or buy an extra one for playdates.

(More customer reviews)How many times can they release Buster the crime fighting, missile launching dog in the Rescue Heroes line??? They just had him come with Bill Barker in the Police Patrol line, with a slightly different color scheme, and he's been released several times before that. If you are new to the line, than the police officer Captain Cuffs and his dog isn't a bad option, but if you have Buster already, you are better off going for Captain Cuffs deluxe figure which comes with a black painted uniform (this figure is in the grey uniform) and a police motorcycle. For a few bucks more, I think the police bike would be more fun than Buster.
