(More customer reviews)These look like the standard wooden blocks we all grew up with in the online picture, but they are not. These are in fact a miniature version of our old standard blocks - maybe a quarter of the size. Perfect for losing all over the house, and not at all what I had in mind for my little boy. I see now in the online picture that there are no children in the picture with the blocks so that one might be tipped off to the size. If you are looking for little blocks, that's fine, but if you are expecting the old familiar basic chunky wooden blocks, look elsewhere.

Little People Animal Sounds Farm Review

(More customer reviews)I just can't say enough good things about the Fisher-Price Little People toys. The farm is no exception - another well-made, durable, go-to-it-every-5-minutes toy.
My 15 month old twins just got the farm from their grandparents (grandpa is a farmer), and they LOVE the toy. The animals, as with the other Little People sets, are easy to grasp and don't mind getting chewed on. The noises are fun, and they are already figuring out which animal goes with which sound. They dance to the music every time they play it, and even get a huge kick out of placing the extras (weathervane, windmill and scarecrow) around the farm.
This is another winner!

There are fun animal sounds in every "room" and even a charming animal tune. The food bin in the outdoor animal area changes from food to water when your toddler bats at it. The "merry-go-round area in the front takes the animals on a round-about ride, complete with an animal sing-along when your child "spins" the floor. Your child can also drop figures through the silo to send them racing down the side of the barn, or open and close the bard doors to activate animal sounds. Farm includes food cart and six figures: pig, cow, horse, sheep, chicken and Farmer Jed. Requires 3 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included).

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Corn Popper Push Toy Review

(More customer reviews)We purchased this toy for our son when he was learning to walk (at 9 months of age) and now he's 15 months old and still loves it. It's his favorite toy of all. He pushes it, pulls it, bangs the floor with it, chases the cats with it, gives it to me to push while he watches the "popcorn" pop and even this morning he was sliding it on the dome instead of on it's wheels. YES, it is noisy and it's not fun to have in the background while trying to talk on the phone, but it keeps a busy toddler happy! I wouldn't recommend it as a "learning to walk" toy because it's not 100% stable but for someone who is stable already, I'd highly recommend it!

(More customer reviews)This is the best shape sorter out there. The "shapes" are 3-D, so they can be inserted in many different directions, not just 2 directions like the usual toy of this kind. This means that even 1 year olds can really work out the problem on their own. The door and key are equally fascinating, as others have noted: open the door, close the door, take out shape, put in shape, etc for long periods of time. One of the best and most fun toys my son owns, AND its educational in an open-ended way, unlike all of these electronic "learning" toys.
