It's great at keeping him entertained, giving lots of opportunities for different types of play and challenges him to improve his fine motor coordination & strength. I wanted to give a complete list of what exactly is included in this set, as, had we known earlier all that it contained we would have bought it months ago.
R2D2 storage caddy with 6 Star Wars stamps under head (jedi fighter (space ship/plane), jedi insignia, clone trooper helmet, General Grievous & 2 we couldn't identify), 3 half molds on feet (Ahsoka, C3PO & Obi-Wan), side jets on R2D2 that you can put red Play-doh through to make it look like he's flying, removable head is also a press to create shapes (Play-doh worms) that are not Star Wars related but makes it look like R2D2 has hair
Anakin 3D mold
Push out light saber mold (the mold is the light saber's handle)
General Play-doh tools that store inside R2D2:

My 30mth old loves this game. A little long to play at his age, but it is designed for a little older age range. The four decks of cards are designed to increase literacy skills. If you draw an Alpha Pig card, you match the lower case letter on the card to the upper case letter on the board, Princess Presto cards you find the letter that the picture starts with. The last two sets of cards are a bit further along in development then he is(game is for 3+ by design), but that only means the game has room to grow with him. Wonder Red cards you need to rhyme with the words on the card, and Super Why cards, you replace the silly word with what makes sense. My husband and I assist him a lot if he lands on the last two set of cards. My son does not seem to mind and I love how educational and fun this game is. I love the great way to reinforce learned skills and introduce new ones. The best is he does not mind to wait his turn. This game not only would benefit the preschool crowd, but even K-1 remediation skills for those with delays or lack of prior exposure. I am buying a copy for my classroom for the literacy center.

I love the Richard Scarry's theme and the fact that the players don't actually play against each other.
They are a team- My 5 five year old daughter is at an age where she hates it when she loses so this works great.
As an adult, I also enjoyed playing this with my daughter- which is really saying something.
The game board and pieces are very good quality as well.
I highly recommend this game for your family or a gift.

We had lots of fun showing him on the map where all of his cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles live. The stickers are great, too! There are lots of colorful pictures on the map of animals, trees, fruit, etc. and he loved finding and naming everything on the map, and especially finding where he lives on the map. This gift was a HUGE hit.

(More customer reviews)I have to admit it -- this toy makes me want to shout "Wow! Neat! Awesome!" And if I were younger, I would definitely add "Cool!" I mean, this toy has everything. Oh, and my son loves it, too! He's not quite three years old, but he enjoys putting the base together, then placing each colorful gear on the pegs, and then -- Fun! -- turning and churning them with the handle. Together we've made some elaborate structures, and he looks so serious and industrious as he carefully snaps on a gear for each peg. Also, this toy is so open-ended and lets creativity soar! After going to the county fair, my son talked endlessly about the "scary rides," and this toy helps to fuel his imagination when we create all manner of exotic spinning rides. He surprised me by putting a gear on a connector and presenting the "flower" to me. He's made a terrific magic wand by stacking the pillars and connectors together, then piling gears atop that and some on the sides. Sometimes he turns the handle very slowly and studies how each gear turns the next one and the next one, and I feel good knowing he's having fun and learning at the same time. This toy has lasting play value, countless creative possibilities, is durable, educational, bright and attractive, and of course loads of Fun! Wow, what more could one want from a toy?!

My four year old just mimics the facts she hears the toy say, my eight year old has learned somebsic interesting fatcts about the world and even us adults have been surprised at what we did and didn't know.
The toy has a map of the world and you can play in several modes. You can choose to hear facts about the different contintents and countries or be quized.
This is a great fun way to learn geography and facts about other countries.
I recommend this around the world over the space model.

Fisher-Price Smart Cycle Extreme Review

(More customer reviews)This is the 4th Smart Cycle we have purchased over the last 2 years (returned 3 previous thank goodness for the extended warranty). The earlier model, Basic Smart Cycle, has a known failure in the chip board which caused repeated returns to the store including one straight out of the box. When we called the fisher price customer service they were extremely helpful and sent us a refund which covered the cost of the new Extreme Version which we have had over a month with no problems. The customer service rep stated the old model, still available in many stores, has a known technical glitch which causes high failure rates. She had received over 2 dozen calls just that day on the earlier model but NONE on the new EXTREME. Both our 3 year old and 5 year old love playing and really work up a sweat while learning basic math, letters, and problem solving.

I don't like that there are so many pieces, but that is my own personal pet peeve. This is one of the better Yo Gabba Gabba toys I've bought for my kiddos. I might even try the other Mega Block Yo Gabba Gabba accompanying items.

The toy includes Crayola (the best) crayons for coloring, as cargo for trucks and planes, and as simple building units for animal bodies, street signs, trees, etc. The set comes with lots of pre-cut artwork panels that can be colored and then easily folded into buildings, archways, etc. Very cool. Later the kids (or mom) can download additional colorable artwork from the Wild Planet website - for free. Airplanes store crayons in their fuselage, trucks carry crayons in their cargo areas. Crayons and those pesky little pieces of crayons (all 2 million of them ,per kid) finally have their day in the sun. Now they have a place to live, work, color, build, be transported. These are very well made. All the provided plastic parts are durable. Even the friction fit of the crayons into plastic parts has a perfect feel for a young kid. The people and the animals are darling. Apparently some awards have already been won by this system. Figures.
