We bought this for him when he was 15 months old and he has been playing with it ever since. It is easily stored too. I definately recommend!

(More customer reviews)This is a grreat toy. The kids love it. It is better than it is better than the wooden version. This one is much more quiet. The kids learn eye hand coordination and have a great time. I would suggest this to any parent. It is even great for the older kids, even 4 yr olds love it.

Our family is living in furnished apartment while we transition to a new house. Most of our toys are in storage. I bought a selection of toys to keep the boys (age 3 and ten months) in our small space. This toy is such a hit. Both boys like it. My ten month old is fascinated. He has played with it off and on all day long every day this week. I watch his coordination improve as he figures out how to start the music, etc. It's just wonderful fun!

Fisher-Price? Roll-a-Rounds? Drop & Roar? Dinosaur Review

(More customer reviews)I was awaiting the release of this toy. He loves his blocks and block toys but none of the roll-a-rounds toys were his type. So he had about 25 balls but no toy to go with them. This looked perfect! He enjoys it but not like I thought he would (he LOVES balls). Here are my problems with it.
(1) The middle hole, it drops down to make the pendulum swing and more then half of the time, the ball gets stuck at that point.
(2) The balls get stuck coming out of that hole as well...
(3) The head comes off real easily and its never on the toy (he takes it off every time especially since its easy to get off)
(4) kind of boring... thought there would be a spiral slide of some variety as kids love that.
(5) music & lights are nothing special either.
I usually LOVE FP toys and we own sooo many. I am happy with my incredi-table and with the wagon for the blocks. This one just wasn't worth t he money.

Well, we're on boy #3 that is using this toy. It's held up extremely well and even my oldest plays with it still. The balls still get stuck... now there is a whole other element to getting stuck as they loves to put their cars in it (down the slide through teh mouth, down the block-slide...). Guess it was worth the money after all (and not what it's listed here as..)

(More customer reviews)My ten-month old loves this toy. It has kept her attention longer then any other toy she owns. It has three musical settings which are pretty engaging to her. On one setting, the spinning of the ball is directly linked to the music, (the previous reviewer was right about it being one of the least annoying muzak in toydom), so when it stops spinning- so does the song. So my baby girl stops whatever she has wandered away to do and goes back and spins it again. And again. And again.
Oh, bonus: it has volume control.UPDATE: Three years later, baby girl #2 has proven how durable it is. She is somewhat more of a hard slapper then a spinner, but the little toy has held up well. I don't know what it is about this toy, but both my children really has gotten great use out of it.

(More customer reviews)I must admit that when my mom gave this toy to my 12 month old, I didn't think it would be a hit - boy was I wrong! Both the baby and my 3 1/2 year old think the ball fountain is neat.
With this toy you push the plunger, the music starts and the balls begin popping out of the top, rolling down the shoot and popping out the top again. Sometimes the balls just keep going through the circuit and sometimes they fly out of the toy and roll across the floor. My daughters enjoy it all!
From a parent point, the negatives are that the music is a little annoying and the five balls roll all over and need to be picked up again and again. The positive is that it keeps my little ones engrossed. The 3 1/2 year old can operate it all by herself and the 1 year old can play with it with only a little assistance from me (helping her corral loose balls and pushing the plunger).
We haven't had any trouble with the sturdiness of the balls, but the yellow funnel does get knocked off occasionally. It goes back on easily enough, but disrupts the play temporarily.
Bottom line is that we really like this toy and are happy to have it in our toy collection

(More customer reviews)I think this is a great toy and I'm sure my son will love to play with the blocks, but i payed over $40 dollars for what i thought was a lot of blocks based on the picture. The blocks are alot smaller than the picture and for the price i dont think this is a good buy. you could probly get them at wal-mart or something for a lot cheaper. To get the amount of blocks to compare to the picture you would probly need 2 or 3 sets.

(More customer reviews)I bought this toy for my 8-month old to encourage him to start crawling. I looked at many and choose this one because of its dual features - I figured that once my son started to crawl he would have an interest in pressing the shapes and animal figures. Well, to start with the motion of the ball sucks! The first time I started it up, it rolled away from him then promptly back towards him and repeatedy smacked him in the head. This caused him to shy away from it for the longest time. Now that he can crawl, the added features are a waste of time. The voice proclaiming things like "it's a duck" goes off randomly without baby having to press the said animal so it teaches nothing about the animals or cause and effect. I should have returned this toy but waited too long - now it will just sit on the shelf gathering dust.
